    IR Iran's Qatar 2022 strategy: eltemas-e Dua
"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

One option is to play with clubs! We can actually get a lot more from Clubs than national teams.

We have more productive activity in this thread than IRIFF has from their office.

Burnley play a slow defensive 442 with long balls. Nothing remotely close to England or USA.

Agreed. Any English team would be a great challenge physically though.

A shame that clubs and national teams don't really play against each other anymore. When I think back that Inter Milan and AS Roma (back when Serie A was the best league in the world) played TM a week after their league ended, I almost chuckle and how much less litigious and wholesome football seemed then.
Could you imagine if Tottenham and Liverpool played TM a week after the league ended now? There would be complaints about fatigue, competetiveness, money...

As for what the new IFF have shown so far, gut feeling say the closest we come to a friendly against a team resembling england, will be a game vs India..

Even if possible, The issue is that all the national team players (from any club) will be on international duty during FIFA friendly dates. So TM would play the B club team at best (though one can make the point that it would still be better than our usual friendly schedule).

                            That was always the rumor.

However we should ignore all rumors. Game should be consisted formalized once it’s 100% confirmed by IFF and opposing federation websites.

Realistic list for Friendly Games :

                              - Uzbekistan / Or some other Ustan
                              - A corrupt South American / Central American country
                              - Somali Pirates or something similar
                              - IPL teams
                              - Iran under 23

Don’t get your hopes high , IFF is as useless as Aftabehh without water

I would even wait for the game to finish before confirming it actually happened
