Iranian Football Summer Transfer Window | 2022

With the summer transfer window opening for some European leagues in June, I'm opening a thread to begin keeping track and discussing both rumors and news. Taremi being linked as an option for AC Milan appears to be the first major rumor of the season (https://sempremilan.com/milan-open-talks-porto-taremi). There are also a number of players in TM's orbit who, per Transfermarkt, have contracts expiring this summer or next summer and may be worth keeping an eye on.:

90 is reporting that Nourollahi will be reupping with Shabab. Disappointing if so given that he would've been a free agent:

Where Yasin goes - can determine a big part of Iran's footballing future.
"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

I agree - hopefully he makes a smart move. He has the potential to work his way into our World Cup squad and potentially be in the starting 11 with our central midfield struggles.

Sepahan should have let him go last year and enjoyed a transfer fee and a future sell on clause. Now they'll get none of it.

BTW guys, another good midfielder to be on the lookout for in the very same Sepahan team is Aria Yousefi. He's a bache Khuzestani and real good as well. He's a 19 year-old midfielder.

With Yasin gone in the summer, he will get more churn with the main team. He's already making sub appearances and is in Saudi with the team. Hopefully we can see him in action.

Sadly, for our World Cup hopes, WE NEED Yasin to start playing ASAP.

If he gets into Europe and starts contributing right away in a good league, he may have a good shot to make Iran's main team in the World Cup or at least get some playing time.

Great thread! Thanks for opening it!

Hoping for that Celtic rumor coming true for Ghaedi.
Seing he is benched now, the club even might contact them to offload him for a small sum of money.

Also, it's important to see what happens with Ali Gholizadeh. He's stagnated this year and needs to move abroad. Hopefully the rumours of French clubs being interested is still there.

It’s just insane how petty Iranian clubs are when they lose $ on players like Yasin just because they think they can convince him to stay against his own will.

Zob Ahan and Reza Shekari got into this as well, a few years back - and what transpired is one of the best up-and-coming players of ours was ruined in the process.

                      We're our own worst enemies.

To be fair, in this case Zob Ahan had a contract and Reza Shekari's agent completely f***ed things up.

Spain would be an absolute dream. Portugal would be great too.

I’m willing to bet the Portuguese teams interested are pacos and maritimo and I bet he will wind up at one of the two. He’d fit in well in both.
