the problem you also have is even if a new iff president comes in the team he/she will build will be so weak - some of the most important roles which then follow like a technical director is given to scum like equivalents like khorshidi who no absoutely 0 in football

Interesting enough 7 days is exact date of Election and vote.

Mehdi Seraj BOD member banned from football related activities by EC invited AFC representative to attend Thursday meeting with agenda to remove Azizi Khadem.
In his letter he has pointed out EC decision to deny his vote.

Itis a direct challenge to EC verdict.
What EC will decide and what is EC next move?

In order to not give Aziz khadem to ignore this letter because of ban, other member of board has sent separate letter to IFF SG Kamranifat for the record.

Aziz Khadem was probably doing something ok since they want to remove him.. we have had realy big clowns there doing all sorts of strange fishy stuff over the years. and nobody wanted to remove them.. suddenly this?

not saying he is perfekt but I have had the feeling that he actualy has supported TM.. now thats just a guess who knows what happens in the background but he cant be worse than most previous IFF heads the last 20 years..

the whole thing is embarresing and I hope it doesnt go through.. i doubt it will be for the better.

now my guess is, that some people want their hands on the fifa world cup money (if iff can get them from fifa as of the sanctions..)..
they want to do the usual fishy stuff and deals and Khadem had other plans not involving them getting their pockets filled with cash. and this didnt go down well.

Unfortunately, neither side could be trusted. Seraji's letter to Ben Salman is like a nuclear option and has now put the whole IFF in a very dire situation. At the same time it is clear that what Khadem has been doing with lack of financial transparency and then using the ethics committee to go after Seraji, is a violation of that committee's independence and itself is cause for dismissal. Today, Azizi Khadem used the 35th anniversary of Iraq bombing of a football pitch in Ilam to send a message and quote Khamenei on the same topic to try to hide behind him http://ffiri.ir/fa/news/11212/%D9%BE...84%D8%A7%D9%85 .

We need the whole IFF to be focused on WC preparation and we have these incompetent corrupt officials fighting for power. It's like US and Israel vs IR, you can not trust any of them. Azizi Khadem has lost all credibility in my eyes and could not be trusted. Unfortunately Seraji is not any better. If the Thursday February 17th meeting removes Khadem, they need to put in charge the most professional and hard working person in the BoD as caretaker until the IFF General Assembly meets in no later than 3 months. Hopefully, there is one

EC - Update

Base on various online reports including Khabaronline Paykan club withdraw their complaint against Mehrdad Seraj.

Normally EC should dismiss the case and verdict but no official words from EC.

Before AFC rep get involved in this illegal and messy decision AC should reverse this decision.

Alireza Saleh Chairman of appeal committee said today in radio interview.

Background

Seven months ago, Paykan filed a complaint against Searaj (Saipa) accused Seraj of insulting members of disciplinary committee after their appall verdict against Saipa club.

During Saipa_paykan game Paykan used extral substitute players in confusion a sensitive game, Saipa filled a complain and DC vote against Paykan, Appeal court reverse the verdict and those 3 point loss was one reason Saipa relegated to Azadeghan.
Seral accused Appeal committee of unfairness and more,

Paykan filed a complaint because insult to members of appeal committee.

Yesterday Musavi deputy from Appeal court challenge that decision after 7 months and said they have not received any complain themselves and have had no issue with Seraj.

If tomorrow (Mon) AC get the file has 3 days to make a decision.

With withdraw of complaint from Paykan it will be difficult not reverse EC decision but if they can't make a decision in 3 days, they can change/delay effectiveness of EC decision to later day that allow Seraj to cast his vote.

The president of Iff met with one of the former presidents of the federation.
Hopefully for the best.

Dadkan recently has given positive comments regarding Azizi Khadem but this is what he said in the past.

Small group of pro Azizi Khadrm demonstrate in front of IFF against Shohre Musavi IFF Deputy President and member of BOD against Azizi Khadem

به گزارش خبرنگار ورزشی خبرگزاری تسنیم، امروز حدود 30 نفر مقابل فدراسیون فوتبال تجمع کرده و علیه شهره موسوی نایب رئیس بانوان این فدراسیون موضع گرفتند.

این اتفاق آن هم در فاصله چند روز تا برگزاری جلسه هیئت رئیسه فدراسیون فوتبال عجیب، مشکوک و هدفمند به نظر می رسد.

در همین زمینه شنیده می شود این افراد قصد دارند روز پنجشنبه هفته جاری و همزمان با جلسه هیئت رئیسه مقابل مرکز ملی فوتبال (محل برگزاری جلسه) حضور یافته و در آنجا نیز دست به تجمع بزنند.
