    There's trouble ahead

" What I know, what that evil done
Redemption ain't coming around no more"

Ethic committee yesterday banned one of BOD from any football related activities fir 6 month (pending appeal).

This desperate act by EC has been seen as an act to effecting vote against Azizi Khadem.
Is this act and ban of related activities include Vote?
Is this Action of EC legal?

Heidar Baharvand and Hamid Reza Mehrali are also members of the BOD as the first and second d eputy presidents, but their presence is illegal due to non-compliance with the articles contained in the statutes and is not practically considered a member of the board of directors.
Will 2 deputies will argue that they can vote?
If saraji can vote and 2 deputies can't then Opponent of AKH has vote
If Saraje and 2 deputies can't vote, Barati will vote against AKH and opponents have vote
If Azizikhadem and 2 of his deputies insist they can vole then there is a deadlock and may be that is best AKH can hope for
In such case there are recourse, but most practical option is call for General assembly meeting (3 months) for vote. there are other options.

The suspected game of the "illegal" ethics committee of football

IFF's ethics committee, which does not have legal executive authority, is trying to intimidate and threaten and prevent legal enforcement by making overnight decisions and statements to prevent legal action and criticism.

Both Fars news and Isna news have good coverage of suspec activities of illigal EC.

        In Math 2/3 of 11 =7.3 = 66.67%
        In person 2/3 of 11= 8

        BOD has 11 members
Legally two deputies can't vote (debatable)
2/3 votes needed to remove him.

        What Azizi Khadem is hoping

He hopes his 2 deputies can vote.
He and his 2 deputies have 3 votes, and they will only need one vote of Afsharian. For now, they have it.
In the past Azizi Khadem got in trouble appointing Afsharian to Referees Commitee. That appointment was considered illegal.

        _______________-

Why votes of 2 deputies are questionable.
When Azizi Khadem appointed his deputies by statue he had 3 months to get GA approval.
There has been no GA meeting yet and no approval.

What has happened with Ethics committee further convinces me that Azizi Khadem could not be trusted to comply with the IFF statute that is key to proper governance. His behavior will eventually jeopardize IFF and TM's status in the eyes of FIFA. What happened yesterday with Ethics committee was a key move that I think should result in his dismissal. Otherwise, IFF will be in trouble with FIFA.

          Go TM!

I'm not too familiar with Azizi Khadem... Is he worse than Taj and Kaffashian?
I personally thought Taj was a good one we had in recent memories.

Mehdi Taj was absolutely as corrupt as they come and the entire Wilmots' debacle was a result of his greed and corruption and almost derailed Iran's World Cup hopes.

If Azizi Khadem is removed, I would hope they bring someone that actually played football and cares for our football.

Following Iran football for around 38 years or so
                      The way it operates
Never the truth reason of firing someone is mentioned
Openly specially on high levels and this is perfect example.

khadem is being replaced because of iran parliament
Has ordered his firing but they are not mentioning that
Because fifa would suspend our football.

2 reason khadem is being fired if someone in in high ranked
Government level don't interfere and pardon him.

                      #1 reason
khadem if was involved making deal with Israeli
Company regarding var directly or indirectly don't matter.

#2 Kia participation in a game which had is real flag
                      On his shirt.

The above 2 is the reasons
And THE REST WHAT WE WILL HEAR IS
                      A PONY SHOW.

Whether the replacement has played football or not is less important to me than being a good manager and not a thief... Most soccer players don't have the management skills necessary for the job. The only people that insist a former footballer should get these jobs are former footballers like Azizi and Karimi. I am sort of glad that Ali Karimi did not get the job as his ego and his temper would have kept him from becoming a good manager. I think Dayi would be a good person for the job as he has managed his businesses well and has a tough enough skin to stick with the job, but as we all know, very unlikely to get the job. Also, Mahdavikia is a good person and definitely not a thief but I am not sure if he is tough enough to stick with the job.

the problem you also have is even if a new iff president comes in the team he/she will build will be so weak - some of the most important roles which then follow like a technical director is given to scum like equivalents like khorshidi who no absoutely 0 in football

It's a vicious cycle.. that never ends!

Finally IFF general secretary Kamranifar tried to clarify critical issues that caused impeachment letter by BOD members.
Unfortunately, too little, too late and dishonest/

*- He said they had communications & correspondents with FIFA regarding amendment of statute
*-He said FIFA had inquire about Parliament decision regarding amendment of statute.
*- He said they still need approval of parliament,
*- He said that congratulation letter was just just formality.

                              Problem with his clarification: a

*-They have kept these FIFA communication secret. They cannot have such important correspondent without advance agreement with BOD.
*- What Kamranifar said is total opposite of what IFF chief lawyer and consultant Rafiei said various time.
*- Rafiei repeatedly said based on their interpretation and corresponding with FIFA, Statute has been approved with congratulatory letter.
*-For weeks members of BOD have asked about such communication and congratulation letter, but they were denied.

Azizi Khadem will be asked about these issues and have no choice but to answer,
