When evaluating this move we should also put into perspective not only where Allahyar is compared to where other star TM players were at his age (he is in a much better place than probably everybody bar azmoun who was at the time on a quite loaded rubin kazan side with big coach), but also where he is is compared to where he actually was just a few years ago.

This is a guy who in build up to u17 WC was training in his local park at Amol following some disagreement with Saipa. He would join Chamanian and co for training camps, friendlies and then go back to whatever the hell he was doing in Amol.
With such an arrangement he managed to have the incredible showing he did at U17 WC. Then he worked one season with Schaeffer and promptly left to Fener, where he was warming the bench for garbage like istanbulspor for a year.

If you compare those situations to now...the difference is really crazy. Just 2 years later here he is, star signing for English team with decent PL history in recent years, a new owner who personally selected him, and looks like he will be a great fit in a higher level competition than what he was exposed to in recent months. The level of attention his individual development will be getting is not comparable to what hes been exposed to before.

He improved so much in a fairly crappy team in zorya, in low visibility ukrainian league. Now he has a direct lien to PL at age 20, something that was his dream a few years ago and seemed very far off.

I dont really see him as soosool type, somebody who needs a lot of coddling or to be spoken to the right way (ARJ even today, Azmoun pre Zenit). Very driven, very aggressive, no fucks given attitude that is one of the key traits the foreign players who do succeed in england have (think of somebody like tevez. 8 years in england, didnt speak a word of english, screwed over Fergie and united and basically kicked whoevers ass got in his way during a hugely successful spell. Similar story with Suarez. Our most successful player in england was dejagah, another with more than a streak of this gangster mentality in him. Allahyar has that looti mentality in him too and it will serve him well)

On physical side he has no adaptation needed, something you would never imagine saying for one of our players, let alone one who just turned 20.

The fact such a product has come from obscurity in Iran and made it to this stage already shows he is very special. He is basically doing all of this progression from 1 year of schaeffer and 1 year of Skrypnyk in Ukrainian wilderness. From age 0-20, 2 professional years of coaching at the club level... He is just complete natural talent.

As we see with Liverpool going for Fulham's youngster carvalho (after signing robertson from relegated hull city), palace signing likes of Eze, Olise from QPR/Reading, tottenham and brentford eyeing up Allahyar's young teammate at hull, Bowen also from Hull to West Ham, and of course likes of Benrahma, Maupay, Watkins all coming from Championship to key roles in PL very recently the pipeline is there even directly to top 6 teams, especially for players as young as allahyar.

And with it being a loan in very bizarre worst case scenario if it doesnt work out he will go back to Fener and get another loan/sale, probably even to the clubs that were interested but not willing to match what hull were offering.

What impresses me most uniquely about Allahyar at his young age (besides what's been already said), is his amazing physique and built at such a young age. He is built like a tank with an incredibly fit upper and lower body. This is REALLY rare for our legionnaires. Even those at the top of their game did not look like him at age 20. Our best strikers currently (Taremi and Sardar) have legs/calves of steel, but their upper body is still only moderately in shape at best (don't forget Mehdi had a little gut when he started at Rio, and Sardar's arms are pretty unimpressive). He is literally built for a very physical league like EPL or Bundesliga, and reminds me of the likes of CR7 and Salah. If he shows his stuff at Hull City for half a year, the sky is the limit for him.

An in-depth look at the career of the Tigers’ second January signing, Allahyar Sayyadmanesh…

Born in Amal, Iran, Sayyadmanesh started playing football at eight years old, beginning his youth career at Arash Amoi and becoming the top scorer in his homeland’s Under-10 league.

Further youth spells followed at Padideh Sari and Saipa, while also representing his national team at youth level.

He helped the Under-16s reach the final of the AFC Under-16 Championship in 2016 before reaching the quarter-finals of the 2017 FIFA Under-17 World Cup in India. At Under-17s level, the forward earned 12 caps, scoring nine times.

Returning to club football, the 20-year-old forward signed his first professional contract with eight-time Iranian league champions Esteghal FC in June 2018.

Scoring two goals in 18 appearances for the Capital Blues, his performances caught the eye of Fenerbahçe and he signed for the Turkish giants in May 2019.

A month later, the forward made his senior debut for Iran after impressing at Under-23s level and currently has seven caps and two goals in that age bracket.

He came on as an 80th-minute substitute in a friendly against Syria and scored just nine minutes into his debut in a 5-0 victory, becoming his nation’s youngest goalscorer, beating Saeid Ezatolahi by almost two years.

In September 2019, Sayyadmanesh joined TFF 1. League club İstanbulspor on a season-long loan and made 11 appearances in all competitions, scoring once.

At the end of that calendar year, he won the Iranian Young Player of the Year award.

A year later, the forward was back out on loan again, this time gaining experience at Ukrainian side Zorya Luhansk.

The 20-year-old scored on his league debut in a 4-0 win against Rukh Lviv before netting the winner in a 1-0 Europa League group stage victory over Leicester City in December 2020.

Sayyadmanesh arrives with some pedigree, having being named as one of the 60 best young talents in world football by The Guardian in 2018, as well as among the Ukrainian Premier League’s best 11 players of the 2020/21 season.

They are really hyping him up. Rightfully so!

His family are all wrestlers including his father. He’s genetically predisposed I think to getting jacked. Bless.

                      From their forums: https://www.not606.com/threads/janua...98024/page-143

Just looking ahead, Sayyadmanesh is likely to be playing for Iran in the World cup. If he is as good as we are being told, better to get him tied down to a contract before he is in the shop window in Qatar.
Yeah if he does well over the next six months suspect it'll be a 4/5 year deal, and then if he bangs at the WC, oh boy!

He said that for him, it was between football or wrestling but he obviously chose football.

                        Thank God he did.

Not a bad place for a loan, lets see how he does. Hopefully he plays in TM instead of Gholi for the remaining WCQs

BTW, his dad saeid was local wrestling star for many years, on fringes of national team too. Now he is a youth coach.

For allahyar, Not only does he have the physical genes in his family/training from a young age, but from mental perspective he is as solid as they come. A true athlete.

Mazandaranis are truly the toughest Iranians. Our best wrestlers are from this region.
