I think that was his first win in the league, next two games are away at Coventry and Hull. 5 points from safety but then the next team above that is Hull who are 16 points away. Looks like 3 from 4 will be going down.

2-0 win today, attempting to claw their way out of the relegation zone but might be too little too late

Issue is that they win two games in the row and so have Reading who are the team just outside the relegation zone.

Barnsley fc has 14 more games left and thats 42 points.

By Judging last 5 seasons, barnsley needs about 46-47 points to escape relegation zone. So they need to win 9 more games to reach 47 points. Basically they need 27 more points . Althought I think 44 points would do the job for pouya.

Also 6 or 9 points difference aint that much if poya can get on winning form.

Up 2-0 at halftime against Chris Wilder's Middlesborough.

Amine Bassi and Domingos Quina have been great recruitments by Poya!

If he keeps them up and stays Barnsley's coach, he should try to advocate bringing Iranian talents to this club.

"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

I hope he makes it, its a very big thing in my opinion, an iranian manager in englands second best league, he can have a big future.

                                Come on Poya

Only 7 more wins needed, out of 13 games.

Win 7 games - draw 1 game and lose 5 games
