Poya doesn't start until Monday though. Right now their manager is a Moroccan called Joseph Laumann.

chuck up another loss for our lowly barn boys..!! be it late on ... conceding 2 goals in 5min.
this guy got his work cut out for him it seems and good luck asking for patience & positivity from your typically miserable english football fans, especially so as young Eyeranian coach..!!
id guess that he'll be outa job before season's end, unless he can miraculously steer them away from drop zone in the next half dozen games or so..?

It is going to be a tough but well done job if he can keep them up . They would be bottom if it wasn’t for Derby’s big point reduction.
Barnsley had a great season last year under Ismael who also did a wonder job keeping them up on the last game of the season the season before. Ismael took arguably their best player Mowatt with him to West Brom and they are going through a rebuild job. They also had Daryl Dike on loan last year who is a highly rated American striker and is back in MLS now.
                    Best of luck to him.

                          playing against 3rd place WBA

Team looks awful young, lacking bit of quality and small in size compared to their opponent .... but he has them set up rather decent and well organized trying to scrap out a draw and succeeding so far late in the game ... 80'

they salvage out a hard fought 0-0 draw... take a small but important step towards championship survival..!!
this league level football action is very fast and physical and really at good level ... much more intense than many first leagues of EU..!!
Pooya should perhaps assign Sweeper sorta role to one of his defenders in their backline .... ? his keeper was for most part playing that role today ... nearly got scored on when he got caught out late in the game ..!!

                            best wishes to homie..!! 👍

0-0 draw, game was on ESPN+

Hopefully the board shows some patience with him and gives him some options in the January transfer window
