If they make the knockout stages of UCL, Azmoun wouldn’t be eligible to play for them this season so the best case would be that they get knocked down to Europa League (which is how the table looks in their group) so he can play Serie A and Europa League this year and then back to UCL next year. And Atalanta would likely make a deep run in Europa
They got rid of that rule 1-2 seasons ago. No blockage on registering for another team in CL mid season.

News just came out that Osimhen will be out for 3 months. Could be possible that Napoli will also try and sign Sardar in January. Dont really think Zenit is gonna ask for more than 7 or 8 milion.

Oh really? Didn’t know that. Well in that case, it would be great if they manage to reach the next round then

Nah just watch a lot of UCL. But I’ve watched quite a bit of Atalanta matches over the past 2 seasons and I love how they play

Also, if Atalanta beats Young Boys today then they’ll be in 2nd in their group with 1 match day remaining.

Transfer: Lyon insists on Sardar Azmoun (Zénith)

Peter Bosz is stubborn. After narrowly missing the Iranian striker from Zenith-St Petersburg this summer, he is back on the job!

It must be said that the 26-year-old player (he will be 27 on January 1), will be at the end of his contract next June. According to the latest information published on the subject, Jean-Michel Aulas' club would compete with Bayer Leverkusen for what could be one of the big shots of the summer transfer window. But OL and Bosz want to do everything to grill the German club!

According to our sources, Olympique Lyonnais could even write a check to the Zenith for the transfer of the Iranian striker and beat the competition.

Lyon wants to kill two birds with one stone

OL would kill two birds with one stone, strengthening themselves in a sector of play affected by injuries since the start of the season (which forced the Dutch technician to line up Lucas Paquetas at the forefront of the attack), all making sure to be the first served.

At the end of November, Juninho would have taken action by contacting the leaders of the Russian club, in order to find common ground as early as January.

The possibility of paying a transfer, then loaning the player in the wake against a certain sum, deducted from the transfer, would have been proposed by the Russians who would like to keep their player for a few more months. The trick is to agree on the amounts in question.

Peter Bosz claims Azmoun and Corona in the transfer window

Olympique Lyonnais is playing an important match this Sunday in Bordeaux, but on the side of Peter Bosz we are already thinking of the next transfer window in order to have a workforce more able to respect its instructions.

To want is to be able, and that is probably the message that Peter Bosz is currently sending to Juninho and Jean-Michel Aulas. Because while the Dutch coach enjoys the absolute confidence of his chairman, he knows that Olympique Lyonnais cannot be content with appearing in a Ligue 1 championship whose results are irregular for the teams behind PSG. After the disillusionment with Reims, it is imperative that OL recover in Bordeaux, as a loss in Gironde could become damn problematic for the former coach of Ajax Amsterdam. On the Lyon side, it has become clear that Peter Bosz will not adapt his strategy to the players in the current squad, but that it is the latter who will have to meet the coach's demands. So Juninho will have to stick to it in order to take advantage of the transfer window of January 2022 to change what can be within the current squad.

Bosz claims Azmoun and Corona in Lyon

For this, Peter Bosz wants the sporting director of Olympique Lyonnais to secure the signature of two attacking players. According to Hugo Guillemet, there is no secret, OL will bet everything on Sardar Azmoun, the Iranian international center of Zenith Saint Petersburg, already coveted last summer, and Jesus Corona, the winger. Mexican FC Porto. However, the journalist from the sports daily specifies it bluntly, in these two cases, Olympique Lyonnais will have competition and given the accounting situation of the Rhone club, follies will be prohibited during the winter transfer market, unless a big assignment takes place at the same time. In the meantime, Anthony Lopes and his teammates will have to do everything to bring their team close to the Ligue 1 podium in order to avoid a big headlock on the side of Groupama Stadium.

Agreed that either move to Germany or Italy is much preferred to Lyon. Both are in the race for CL/EL as well. On the other hand Lyon sinking in the standings and has a potential coaching change on the horizon. Not a good situation for Azmoun to get caught up in, particularly during a WC year to ensure a coaching change at a new club.

I guess the only transfer we could witness is allayar (maybe azmoun)
