It seems Mahdavi kia replaced Nokhodkar with Yadegar rostami and Barzegar with Kalmarzi.
Soon we will find out wisdome of his choice one way or another.
Pilaram and Arazi were previously invited but were excluded from last training.
there are only 2 U21-23 players Rezaei and Khodabandelo.
Yasin , won't be included in TM list since he is with U23.Comment

There are 3 players from Esteghlal in the list , Rezaei ( GK) , Saeidifar ( GK) and Sadeghi ( RW) and there is only one player from Persepolis ( Kind of ) .
Alireza Khodaei has been with Persepolis youth teams for years and top scorer Captain of their U18 team. He moved to Moghavemat ( military obligation) and upon returned transferred on loan to Saipa,
He is small forward but it seems as usual Mahdavi Kia has invited him for RB posision replacing Ahani ( MIS)

Not seen the final list but Zeidan (Man United), Ahmed Sher ( Spezia ) Ryan Hasan (Brentford), Ewert Baram ( Nürnberg) won't be included

Last time that Iran U23 played an international game was versus Tajikistan U23 on Oct31 2021 during qualification.
Iran participated with U23 team but current squad consist of U21 players except 2 players.
There are new players in the list who has yet to pracrice with the rest but basic structure may stay the same.

Kia's faith in Milad Kor is worth noting. Consistently in the list and xi despite being one of the youngest players and not getting any first team mins with zob. He has great physical potential and is versatile (able to play across backline) and solid on the ball. Given his age he is a great prospect in the CB position for us. Fallah of course one of the standout CBs in the league this year, think he will move to top 3 club soon if not europe.Comment

Iraq training started last Saturday.
Iran training to start Friday and they will depart for Baghdad on Sunday.
