Walemark is subbed in ahead JB for Toonstra

Should've stayed in Brighton, at least he was getting paid there

His career so far - few good games every now and then which masks how bang average he is.

He has played a multitude of matches in Rotterdam, far more than he would ever play in England.

He can try again on his own position, played some European matches and is in an environment where he has had success.
And at Team Melli he has also started to play significantly better, has been important for the team again. How long ago was that?

It is only the first season with a major Dutch club, after 3 years of Brighton. It's still too early to call this a bad transfer.
Iran deserves better, TM deserves better.

I know it’s Europa League but wow Barcelona getting a beating from Frankfurt.

Is feyenoord (or slavia) good enough to kick Marseille out in the next round?

Bro he lost his starting spot twice already this season even though he was hand picked by the Manager.

Some 20 year old Swede walked in from a fisherman's league and took his spot in the in the team.

At this point of his career with the world cup looming he has no time stay and fight, he needs to transfer or loan out ASAP.

He has just played 2/3 of a season at Feyenoord and has played 25 games. Trainer Slot has not lost confidence in him. He has seen him at work in Alkmaar himself and therefore knows what AliReza can do.

You underestimate how bad the 3 seasons in Brighton were for him. If he keeps fighting, he can still get a starting spot at a top-3 club in the eredvisie @Fey.

I much prefer that to sitting on the couch and being used in the wrong positions like at Brighton.

Brighton or Feyenoord, he's bench riding, might as well get paid for it and have the prestige of playing in the best league in the world, rather than getting garbage minutes against a bunch of Frisian farmers.

Sinesterra injured, and Linssen is subbed on, so for those keeping track, Alireza now is the 5th option winger behind sinesterra, Nelson, Walemark, And Linssen (typically a CF).

I respect him for making the gamble and taking such a huge pay cut... Others would have not done this.

He is still an important player for TM

Feyenoord made 5 subs and Alireza wasn't one of them ...

And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

He's not very good. Guy had one decent season and he's tormenting us all.

Then decided to score goal of 2019-2020 in the EPL.

I think its time to except that season and that goal is outside of his normal play.

Way to slow and blocky for a small player.

Maybe even Toornstra is ahead of him for the RW position
