Taremi is miles ahead of Darwin. I know Taremi is older but if the scouts knew a thing or two he would have been picked up much earlier and cheaper.

I think this was an offer for loan swap for Aubameyang (perhaps with first option on permanent contract) which has since been superceded by the Barcelona deal.

Perhaps it made sense from a business perspective for Porto because taremi being eye-ranian is less marketable.

Anyway it's over now. I'm pretty sure Mehdi will stay at porto
