I'm happy for Abedzadeh because he deserves everything that's happening for him these days.

He's not one of those players who used their father's last name to get to where he is. Sure, his dad helped him. But he's a hard worker who earned every bit of success he's received so far. Including his place in the national team. A humble, down to earth and professional athlete.

We've got 2 fantastic goalkeepers in Abedzadeh and Beiranvand.

He looks extremely sharp and is for sure our number 1 atm.

AT beginning of season it was still close with beiro, who truth be told has been ok this season for boavista (I doubt he will be on bench much longer after coming back from injury). But his lapses for TM, and general demeanour are concerning and show a GK not on the top of his game. We all know when both are at their best beiro is the better GK, but right now you cannot deny abedzadeh.

He made a seemingly weird transfer in the summer but it paid off. For a GK, At age 28 he has many years ahead of him and is just now entering his prime. Way less bad exits than in previous years for maritimo, very few errors in judgement, no fundamental mistakes. OFC everybody knows hes great with his feet and in the modern game that is essential, and highly appreciated in Spain.

Would be surprised if we dont see him in La Liga either by way of promotion or signing for 1st division side by the end of next season.

El Sevilla is interested in registering a porter to replace Bono, who is playing in the Africa Cup. Monchi goes to the portero de la Ponferradina Amir Abedzadeh (28 years old).
Seems too good to be true/fake news. Not sure what the original source is though.

even though almost certainly nothing comes out of that it just goes to show his gamble was right.

Perform in segunda like he is doing and eventually good liga club will pick him up. Bono himself went from segunda to sevilla at the age of 29, and shortly thereafter took over number 1 spot.

And the issues surrounding his height and potentially physicality wont be held against him as they might in other leagues. Spain has long history of GKs with similar build excelling there. Even the great Casillas was same height, or per wiki 1 inch shorter than abedz. Same with Victor Valdes for many years Barca #1 and many others. In PL for example there is stigma against such GKs bc of notion they cannot deal with excessive aerial pressure put on them in the box compared to other leagues.

I’ve heard Bono still hasn’t found what he’s looking for at Sevilla.

I think you are correct , vindication of his decision completely. He has performed consistently well for a while now.

If true it seems the best way to get transfer is to start with smallest teams of the league and get noticed by top teams.

The possible loss of Dmitrovic reaches Iran, where they reveal Sevilla's contacts with the revelation goal of Second

Julen Lopetegui has saved the call-up for tonight's El Gran Derbi hours before Sevilla FC visits Real Betis to play an exciting single-leg tie in the round of 16 of the Copa del Rey . Up to here everything normal, since it is usual for the Basque to hide his cards, especially in these last two months of incessant plague of casualties. There are many known absences of important players such as the injured Navas, Lamela or Suso, great expectation with doubts such as that of Koundé and, especially, nerves and intrigue given the rumors that have circulated in recent hours about possible cases of covid in the template and/or last minute injuries.

The gossip and leaks took shape when, around 2:00 p.m. this Saturday, the Sevilla FC squad arrived by bus at their usual team hotel in Luis de Morales, together with the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán. A large crowd was waiting for him at the gates to cheer them on for tonight's derby... and to control who got off the bus and who didn't . And two conspicuous absences have been detected: Fernando Reges and Marko Dmitrovic.

Especially worrying is the situation with the Serbian goalkeeper, since Yassine Bono is with the Moroccan team playing in the African Cup and is not available either. Already during the afternoon of Friday, comments circulated about the absence of Dmitrovic in the last training session prior to tonight's cup clash at the Benito Villamarín. Javi Díaz or Alfonso Pastor could have to start against Betis and this handicap has had media coverage even in Iran .

From this country, according to the InfoBierzo.com portal , they have revealed some alleged emergency contacts at Sevilla FC to try to get hold of the services of one of the revelation goalkeepers this season in the Second Division . This is the Iranian keeper of SD Ponferradina Amir Abedzadeh and in his country the operation is valued at around 3.5 million euros . Although a priori it seems hasty and always according to the information published by the local media, Monchi would have been following him for a long time and could speed up negotiations pushed by the circumstances.

Adedzadeh, 28 years old and an international with his country's national team, has a contract with Ponferradina until 2023 and he is leaving this course in the Silver Category and his numbers are more than meritorious . Only 14 goals conceded in 19 games, which offers an average of 0.74 goals against per day and, in addition, he has kept a clean sheet in 8 games, averaging 2.9 saves per 90'.

He needs to play this smart. Be a benchwarmer in Sevilla, or be a fixed 1st keeper in Ponferradina, if they promot to La Liga or not.. I don't want to see all our TM keepers warming benches.

Abedzadeh must be a hotter prospect for them now

Altough your point is well taken, IMO Abedzadeh would definitely chose Sevilla should an offer come forward.

                          - he has stated in the past that his ultimate goal is to play in Spain's La Liga
                          - he has proven in the past wherever he went that he would grind and improve and eventually succeeed
                          - he took a risk to go to Spain's Liga Segunda and other lower rated leagues in the past so he's know to be a risk taker
                          - he has always taken the long view
                          - It's Sevilla! If you get an offer from Sevilla, you go!

You guys should watch highlights. If he isn’t our #1, I don’t know how you can be a #1.

If he keeps putting in performances like this, as he’s done pretty consistently this season, he should be in the La Liga next year even if they don’t promote
