            Very sad news. When I think of Mehrdad, I think of his beautiful, onetime strike goal from outside of the box in the crucial WCQ playoff vs UAE in 2001. (Please go to 3:25 of the video).

                            So sad. RIP. I remember how much his goal against Thailand in AC96 made me happy, Feels like it was yesterday.

                              Even more saddening is apparently nothing is learned from his untimely passing. Ali Karimi and a bunch of his old buddies have gathered at the hospital when they know their presence could lead to hundreds of people gathering around😡
