Salmani scores! 2-1 for Portimoniense! He asked for the ball behind the box from the attacking right winger then had a beautiful first touch and put it in between the keeper's legs! His first Liga NOS goal!

    Go Salmani!

fantastic delivery for the assist and the goal was that of a technical, confident player.

        very exciting stuff

Would be great if he becomes a regular and we have a stand-in for Milad at the leftback position.

Playing in midfield according to LiveScore , great to see an Iranian player playing strong football in Europe in midfield position
            Need more of that please.

He's being used as a left winger in a front 3, so not too sure how much of a cover he would be for Milad if he keeps getting used in the attacking position like today

his set piece deliveries are so dangerous. Looks like he is designated corner taker already

Every single one of the corners he's taken has been top notch, into the right area and just need someone to connect like the first one. Commentator anticipating something to happen every time he takes a corner

I think noorafkan is cementing himself as milads cover with many good performances this year (all at LB).

But Salmani looks a very smart, versatile, technical prospect.

Doesn’t hurt at all to have a versatile player in the national team squad who can cover at left back, left wing too. His goal he is in the centre, if he keeps this up will be another great option.

Salmani is defending very well on the left flank. He seems to be a complete player.

                        Go Salmani!

He just had a great service into the box taking a free kick. This is great.

                          Go Salmani!

The game is in the refrigerator (as Lakers legendary broadcaster Chick Hearn used to say). 4-1 for Portimonense. Salmani was subbed out in 80th minutes. He did awesome with his first start. He definitely earned more starts in the future.

                            Go Slamani!

watched whole second half. Jafar was excellent.

He moves the ball super quick in possession, smart passes, covers space well and contribute defensively (LWB skills).

He is naturally gifted technically, can beat players and is quick.

Physically bc he moves ball so fast he didnt actually get into a lot of confrontations, but im sure that will be one aspect their staff works on with him just so he fills out a bit more.

He reminds me a bit of Saka from arsenal.

Think he will get a lot of mins between now and end of season. The commentators kept lauding him and calling him a complete player.

That’s how he’s being used now but he is a true wingback so he can play in the back too if needed. Definitely a great second choice to Milad
