two solid friendlies. Bosnia have a lot of quality players but are in a rebuilding phase. Even if they dont bring their "A" team bc they dont have anything to currently play for and its covid, the new younger guys will be super motivated to stake their claims. Panama may look weak on paper but play hard, qualified for WC, and beat costa rica in back to back matches 1-0 this past international break.

If anyone thinks Panama looks weak they clearly just watch WC scores and don’t know jack. They’re a very respectable team that play tough, gritty footy. Definitely a better test for TM as they bring something different to the table that Asian teams don’t. Bosnia friendly needs no explanation - amazing if both can happen.

Seems like it worked out as Ireland is playing England on the same date.

Panama was a solid team and was a great friendly when we played them before.

Bosnia even better, even their B team is better than most Asian teams.

A friendly against a team like Bosnia is prep for Our game against Iraq. A balanced game where we won't dominate possession, and have to defend.

Now we need a friendly against a physical but inferior team to prep us for the game against Bahrain where we will dominate possession, but probably face team which will be ultra-defensive and try to get us on counter attacks. A team like Armenia or Oman would be nice.

Agreed. I think Oman is a good choice. Our games against them have never been a cakewalk and maybe Skocic could use his Croatian connection with you-know-who to get a friendly match set up.

                                Go TM!
