They could also do vaccination of anyone who comes in close contact with the visiting teams, this includes, airport personnel, hotel personnel, bus drivers, training facility workers and so on. I hope for once they go above and beyond. If anyone here has any contacts with IFF, suggest the support staff vaccination idea to them. We shall see. Go TM!
there .... you nailed the persistent problem with our federation ..!
we be lucky if they even wrote a legible request letter ..!!? if i know these lots better, they'll probably write a half-ass comprehensible letter and hope to be denied.... so as usual they can then go on media and claim to have tried and AFC screwed them outa of it ..!!
then sit on their asses and do nothing and on with their usual "halaa berim bazia ro bekonim, bebinim che mish..?"

Vintage IFF koongoshadi o moftkhori antics ...!!

no wonder why they went to such extreme lengths in order to force CQ outa iran...!! he was just about the only one who was holding their feet to fire and forcing them to actually do their job and when they'd refuse he would expose their mediocrity in media ..!!

Seems very odd to go all the way to Ireland when Qatar has been able to handle COVID-19 era football very well so far.
What is fishy is that we have a friendly with Syria on the very same date

^ Good that you said its a rumor. As Nokhodi said, Ireland doesn't make any sense. Qatar has better facilities, its closer and has COVID-19 under control.

Maybe so, but Iran and Ireland just agreed to reopen the Irish embassy in Iran and we've seen before that political openings are sometimes "sweetened" by non-political ones, including through sports and TM.

Ireland doesn't have a warm-up before their WCQ friendlies on the 24th and 27th. March 30th doesn't make sense, sure, but I wonder if we could get something in around the 21st, and then fly back to Iran for Syria on the 30th.

Unrelated to the above...this is an impressive list of European legionnaires for consideration to look at for these friendlies (yes, we need two!). And then obviously we have players from Iran, Qatar and a few others.

We see this list, and then we look back to 10 years ago. When we put all of our eggs and our hopes into Nekounam, Shojaei and a returning Ali Karimi's basket to help qualify us to Brasil 2014

Khadem and Skocic better not mess this up!

But isn't Irandust now a Swedish International? Can he still be capped by us?

I don't know why, but this video had me thinking of TM since I started watching them 25+ years ago. TM has definitely had its ups (beating the US in 98 WC, making back to back WCs, gaining more than 3 points in a WC group stage, stopping CR7, having CQ as our coach for 8 years) and its downs (the disappointment of WC 2006 with our golden age, not making WC 2010, Messi scoring on us in the 93rd minute, lack of friendlies/resources/shoes/sponsorships, losing CQ). But through it all, I (and many others here, I believe) have stuck in there, had faith, and still hold hope that our TM will continue to improve and bring joy to 80 million people. All for TM!
