    Guys,

How many points do we need to advance from this group as a second team, if not first? Can we adnace as a second team with 10 points in 4 matches?

10 points in 4 games give us a 99% chance of qualifying. that would require us to take 4/6 against Bahrain and Iraq, where we previously got 0/6, so not an easy task, even with Wilmots gone.

Jordan and Kuwait drawing their next game would mean we only need 9 from our next 4 to qualify

Thank you Ostad. 99% qualifying chance with additional 10 points is good.

I agree with you that games against Bahrain and iraq will be very difficult as they are both ahead of us point-wise.

Why don't we have a second game scheduled in November?

Guys Bahrain is in good shape. 3-1 against both Lebanon and UAE. I think the match against them could be even more difficult than the Iraq match.

They are well coached and know their strengths/weaknesses and play in their favor. They will be tough and Skocic knows that...let’s hope he plans well. I’m sure he will.

Knowing Bahrain, they will come out with a very defensive formation, do annoying time wasting, and try to kill the momentum of the game at all costs. If we don't have a solid game plan, the bezan ziresh tactic will come into play and we will play right into their trap

In addition to having a solid game plan, we need solid psychological preparation against Bahrain and Iraq. They have always seemed to have TM's number, not from a tactical standpoint, but by getting under TM player's skin. They will pull their usual tactics to get our players hot and angry, hoping to get us to commit fouls, get yellow/red cards and give away penalties. That is their best hope for winning against us, and we need to be ready for this. The greatest example of this on the world stage was Zidane's meltdown at the WC final. He/France would have won that game had he kept his cool (though the Italian player was saying some horrible things to get him to react).
