They play in the Championship. (They also have Adebayo Akinfenwa, world’s strongest footballer.)

Their preseason so far was: 5-1 loss against West Ham and a 5-2 loss against Aston Villa.

They face Brentford this Sunday EFL Cup.

For him that is a good signing , saying he wasn’t first choice in a team that got relegated last season. Seems to be good spirit at Wycombe, highest level they have ever played at too. Good luck to him , someone should contact greenguyforlife with that picture on the Gol Bezan page.

              But WhyComb!?
Green guy is a big critic of Ryan’s game & doesn’t want to see him anywhere near TM ..!
Tbf, though I mostly agree with his general Scouting assessment of RawYawn ..! However I wouldn’t be opposed with aTM trial of our Sexy beast homie, it wasn’t too much hassle to arrange & sort out his paperwork..! Especially if he can establish himself as a regular starter in championship this season..!? @ a very least he could be a huge boost to sales of a TM calendar issue, if we had to resort to desperate measures of raising money for IFF after Wiltits’s contract debacle.

Critical because he genuinely is not a good player. He struggled against all the weak teams this season for Hull, and even his strength which supposedly is in the air, he made mistakes which led to goals conceded from high balls.

Tafazolli quite simply is not Iran NT standard and that's not a bad thing, people acting like it's bad that he isn't. It's fine, he doesn't need to be TM standard. It's not for everyone.

We have players in Iran who are far more superior in all aspects such as Salimi, Aghasi, Moradmand, Gholami who are also younger.

Best of luck to him but without an Iranian passport, Queiroz himself didn't rate him nor did his staff and already relegated from Championship once... He is not Iran National Team standard and will not be called up.

Seems like a good career move - he’ll have a chance to start on a team competing in the championship. Will definitely keep a close eye on him this season

Looking at the squad list there isn’t much competition for his position so he may start.

“New man @RyanTafazolli will become just our second ever player with Iranian ancestry.

The first was Farrukh Quraishi, who featured for the #Chairboys in 1977/78 and went on to play in the US, coming up against a certain Brazilian striker named Pele.“

Agreed, and glad to have him here. Unfortunately, the consensus seems to be he doesn't have the athleticism to be a high caliber championship starter, let alone an international one. Hope he proves otherwise this year though! Certainly the size and physicality are pluses, and he seems to have the heart.

                              Blackburn 5:0 Wycombe FT

*Ryan started on the bench and was subbed in on the 58th min after his team got a red.
