Super good game by moharrami and dinamo

He didn't give attackers any space and was picking their pocket and stealing the ball from them all game.

He also used his recoveries to start quick counters with some really nice through passes.

He's definitely improved a lot on his defense.

What a strange, pleasant feeling to watch Dinamo, and not get annoyed watching Stojanović #Moharrami

He was very great defensively, pretty much shut down most of the attacks from the right. I didn't see much attacking from him in their second half, but that might have just been their tactics as they looked like they wanted to sit back and defend, then hit on counter. Worked really well and he was very impressive [emoji1362]

Dinamo are only team in Europe to go 5 Euro games without conceding a goal so far...

IF they shut out CSKA in final game they will equal a record only accomplished twice in european history (once by united and once by bayern I think?)

Moharrami has been key to that. His defensie awareness and decision making went from one of his weakpoints to one of his strongest attributes.

Offensively this dinamo is more reserved than previous version, but sadegh still has key role as one of the main guys who plays out of opposition press. Either with smart passes, or very penetrative dribbles.

I think they can go far in this EL if they dont get killer draw. And if they do sadegh is in the type of form where he could really catch the eye.

As long as they get a decent draw, Dinamo can probably get as far as even the Quarterfinals and if Sadegh continues to play with the form he’s currently in, I’m sure there will be several suitors within the top leagues

hes winning croatian poll for motm (close to 700 votes), ahead of ademi in second by 200. Was given the rating below by the author.

"New top party Ademi, delightful Moharrami and Gvardiol"

"Sadegh Moharrami (7.5) - He easily dealt with the fast-footed Narsingh, threw in front of him, took his balls. In Rotterdam, he was not offensively oriented. We haven't seen him in such a quality defensive release in a long time."

What a game from Moharrami! Shut down a very solid winger in Narsingh.

                He's come a long way!

"What a player. It's like Moha from the early days got a huge software upgrade. Intelligent, quick, composed and overall solid in defense and attack. "

Defense used to be his weakness, but now it seems to be one of his strengths. Shows he has hunger, determination and grit to improve. Impressive.

I can see him playing in a top league sooner rather than later , as has been shown before Zagreb are known for selling on there players to bigger clubs for a good amount of money.

                          "SADEGH, KING OF INSTAGRAM
It dawned on him with Bjelica's departure: Moharrami had finally proved himself

In the summer of 2018, Branko Ivanković said that Dinamo will earn 10 million euros on him, he made his debut in a blue jersey with an own goal, and he still knows only a few words of the Croatian language ...

Sadegh Moharrami (24) finally welcomed his five minutes. And he became an important Dinamo player. The Iranian footballer has been a member of Dinamo for more than two years, in the meantime he was on loan at Lokomotiva, and still, despite a great performance against Feyenoord, he did not meet the expectations of the fans. Branko Ivanković described him back in 2017 as a player on whom Dinamo will earn 10 million euros, but Moharrami is still worth "only" 700,000 euros on the football market.

In fact, Dinamo fans declared him the best player of the match on our portal 24sata, although of course that is excessive. Yes, Moharrami was great, he played by far the best game in the "blue" jersey, but the epithet of the hero of the game once again deserved Arian Ademi. Captain, leader, "alpha and omega" of the Croatian champion. And a footballer who is worth much more than two, three, five or 10 million euros to Dinamo.

Sadegh Moharrami in Rotterdam made his 44th appearance for Dinamo, he collected 10 more games in the Lokomotiva jersey. Fast, energetic and motoric, he showed from the first days that he had "stuff" in him, but the Iranian was playful all the time, dribbled on his half or would forget about defensive tasks. Today, Moharrami looks more tactically trained, and with the matches against Wolfsberger and Feyenoord, he "pushed" Stojanović to the bench.

Interestingly, in his two-and-a-half-year HNL career, Moharrami played only six European matches. In the era of Nenad Bjelica, only one, in the home match of the 1/16 finals of the European League against Viktoria Plzen (3-0), Stojanović then had cards. However, Moharrami is also one of the players who "dawned" with the arrival of Zoran Mamić, so this season he has already collected five Euro appearances.

However, while he played against Cluj (from the 107th minute) and CSKA Moscow (from the 90th minute) only in the final, he had great minutes in both matches with Wolfsberger (74 and 90 minutes), and now in the Netherlands. Things on the right side of the Croatian champion are now quite clear, Moharrami is "number 1", while Stojanović will start fighting to regain his position with Zoran Mamić.

Sadegh Moharrami played the best game so far at Poljud, in a big derby against Hajduk, obviously, the Iranians are also "burning" big games. Dinamo defeated Hajduk (2-0) in Split in March this year, Kadzior and Ademi scored, and Moharrami acted like - Cafu. Well, against Feyenoord, he didn't have too many offensive trips, but he did his defensive tasks perfectly.

Interestingly, the Iranian footballer is only now experiencing the best days in Dinamo, even though he has been in Zagreb for about 30 months. In his debut for Dinamo, he scored an own goal (1-1 against Rudeš in July 2018). However, Moharrami still does not know the Croatian language, nor does he try to learn it too much. And that communication is still his biggest problem, because of that he was often in the background. On his other hand, he is a big star in his native Iran, followed by 586,000 people on Instagram."

he was rested today along with some other key in 5-1 win today.

They play CSKA in final EL game. Im not sure if they will rotate again with first place confirmed or play same team and try to get that clean sheet record (0 goals conceded in 6 matches). I think they will go for it though.
