I thought Sardar was decent today. Today was an example of how a striker can do well while not scoring.

He created chances for himself, he created chances for his teammates and was aggressively focused to score when he had an open window. It just didn’t happen vs Rostov today and that’s fine. I’m glad he’s back and is healthy.

OMG look at sardar ! What a world class player he is! He is a beast ! He manhandled every rostov player . Even in zenit's first goal he did it. The match should've been 8-2 if it wasn't Rostov's goalie

Honestly if sardar is gonna improve in russia then why move stay there man and improve for team melli and world cup.

i agree to everything but the bold
he's been in RPL for some 6-7 seasons now and proven to be dominant force and nothing left for him to prove there anymore....!!
he obviously needs to LEVEL UP already before the regress cycle kicks in (if it hasnt already..!?) due to clear lack of challenging playing environment playing in what's largely considered by enlarge an EU semi pro ... farmers league...!
i think him chocking on the pitch and flaking off it at WC18 shoulda served as a clear indicator that he still has some ways to go in order to prove himself a truly world-class international for TM... ! regardless of his still very impressive international stats and relative young age..!!

Rostov's GK played one hell of a game.

Lol there was like 3 bullshit goals in this match but watching this you can see how big of a presence Azmoun has on the pitch. Not easy to do in such a physical league, hopefully we cans see him use his strength to bully off the Asian players in our remaining WCQ.

Sardar Azmoun, an old acquaintance in the orbit of Sevilla

Sevilla are not going through their best sporting moment of the season. The Seville club knows that it has a demanding season ahead and that when summer arrives, the squad will have to be retouched. Up front there may be movements. Sevilla already received an important offer for En-Nesyri last winter and, if it continues its progression, the logical thing is that in summer a new Premier League attempt will arrive, even from a team more powerful than West Ham. That is why, for more than a year, Sevilla have had Sardar Azmoun, forward of Zenit de Saint Petersburg, on their radar.

The Iranian attacker was already on the Seville club's radar in the summer of 2020, as ElDesmarque has learned, and has a profile that conforms to the club's demands. 26 years old, he has experience in a level team and Champions League, and is entering his last year of contract. As this web portal has learned, the player wants to leave Zenit in a few months and Sevilla can enter that scenario. Azmoun is not the only player on Monchi's roster, but he is well placed.
