During an interview posted on V3, he just mentioned he may consider IPL option if there is no offer from Europe.
But he said his priority is Europe and this is WC year and so crucial for him.
If i am his agent i will do what it takes to stay in Europe for this year, even for lower league.

IPL shouldn't be an option until he turns 32. With the success of Abed and Haghighi in Portugal and now Niazmand going there, I don't know why a Portuguese team doesn't pursue him?

Because he is a very inconsistent keeper. Which most of the people here don't like to here but it is reality!

inconsistent would mean he gets a cleansheet every 3 games (for example!) , but also has to be blamed for huge faults that cost his team the game every 3 games.

          Thats far from the truth!

Yes, he played inconsistent @Antwerp, where they held him on the bench, favouring a player (Butez) who isn't even good enough to tie Beiro his shoe laces. And then being thrown in front of the lions in a huge EL game without rhythm and under a magnifying glass. Not only by fans or press, but by his asshole coach too!!
This "mastermind" coach then filleted him in front of the whole world, which made Beiro even more nervous.

Beiranvand is a quality keeper, the only "flaw" he has, is the fact that he has started his football career late, within Iran. So he seems to miss some basics and he doesn't always play his game in line with what would be called common for a modern keeper.

But guess what? Chelsea has a goalie who also is "unorthodox" , but he isn't less of a goalie because of that!

          GO BEIRO!!
Iran deserves better, TM deserves better.

That's a very good comparison. I do get Mendy vibes when it comes to Beiro.. Both of them were raised in very rough circumstances.

                        - if beiro proves himself and gets back to form, Antwerp can find the confidence in him they are looking for as their starter for the following season
                        - if that does happen ^ and they still don’t want him, at least they can then sell him and make their money back or even profit
                        - rsc is in need of a keeper
                        - beiro will have Iranian team mates and can assimilate even more comfortably than he already has
                        - beiro can help rsc reach short term goals like getting back into the top half of the table they need someone like him who is resilient and can make big plays when needed which he has shown plenty of good moments both in club and country.

I agree such a move favors all parties.
But 3 Iranian players in a club? Surely they have board members who'd question bayat's commitments and priorities.
He has to make a very good case of signing yet another Iranian. But Beiranvand indeed HAS a good record at TM to make Bayat's life and case much easier to make.
In the 90's some Italian clubs (AC, Inter, Roma, ... tried this 3 players from same nat'l team format to great success. AC had the dutch trio of raijkaard, Guillet & vanbasten. Roma had their german trio, ... ). But those were from established footballing powerhouse nat'l teams like Germany and Holland. Iran isnt.

Or Ali Gholi is shipped off and transferred to another club.
he certainly has done more than enough to attract better clubs, even from the top 5 leagues.
And barring some massive bad luck, he will end up in a far better club soon

They had 4 Iranians at one point….delfi, noorafkan, kaveh and Gholi. Lots of teams have 3 players from a foreign country it’s definitely not uncommon to the point it’s worth questioning commitment and loyalty.

The case for Iranians at this club has already been built….kaveh and Gholi have undoubtedly been their best players in recent years and kaveh as been their record selling player at the time he was sold so that in mind in and of itself warrants bayat to bring in more Iranians who have clearly been good for business.

Are they borrowing Kaveh from Club Brugge one more year? They usually don't approach Club Brugge until the end of the window when they know they can get him for a very good price. As of now, only Goli is officially playing for them next year.
