Iran football is in bad shape (worst time of its history)

    Meet your Persian Love Today
First IFF cancel the contract with Wilmots - god knows how much money was wasted on that?
Now head coach of Esteghlal has left - Stramaccioni has left the team due to lack of payment. God know how much the team will get to pay later in FIFA?

    The foregin coaches left are:
    Saant Naft - Dragan Skočić
    Tractor - Mustafa Denizli
    Persepolis - Gabriel Calderón
    Shahin Bushehr - Mišo Krstičević

Which one of these will leave the team hanging cold?

I kinda respect the fact that you just don't care, dude.

But seriously, this post could have gone into four other threads on the homepage.

Two coaches have left and it's the worst time in our history?

As far as results the worst time in our history was the early 90s with elimination in group stage of the 1992 Asian Cup, Elimination in the 1994 World Cup qualifiers and elimination of group stage of the 1994 Asian Games. Not to mention the long suspensions issued by AFC against Pious, Moharrami and Kemani Moghaddam.
I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

Yes indeed its worst. Before we were financially able to accommodate the loses, but now we are unable to keep up with the financial costs. Football is not free and it will get tougher and tougher.

To send Carlos Queiroz away was the stupidest action. after a successful 2018 World Cup, he should have received a contract up to World Cup 2022

IFF ended the cooperation with CQ because he did not finish at least runner up in the Asian Cup 2019.

Yes, agree. Iran had very talented players at the time. But for some reason was technically weaker than South Korea and Saudi Arabia, psychologically weaker than Iraq.

1995 - Team Melli did not play a single game!

    So in summary:

1990 WCQ - eliminated at Group Stage (First Round)
1992 AC - eliminated at Group Stage
1994 AG - eliminated at Group Stage
1994 WCQ - eliminated at Group Stage (Final Round)
1995 - no Team Melli matches

so only achievement in that period were:
    1990 AG - Gold Medalists
    1991 Afro-Asia Cup - Runner-up

Iran in general is having one of the worst days these days, not only in football, nearly in every sport and in general life.
Very sad days for Iran, Iran is having so much problems that someone like Branko doesnt want to be Irans coach imagine that.

Yesterday Ali Hashemi the weightlifter posted their food in trainingcamp, Spaghetti with some minced meat .... he says no help for preparation ..... everywhere we have problems and it will become worse and worde it seems. Its like someone who reached the age of 80 and is slowly reaching the last days, wtf did they do to the country
