Media reports suggest that the Portuguese club will sign the Iran national football team goalkeeper in the winter transfer window.

Beiranvand has a 700.000 dollars buyout clause in persepolis.

Turkish top-flight football teams Fenerbahce, Besiktas, Caykur Rizespor and Greek side Olympiakos had already shown interest in signing the goalkeeper.

On Friday, Beiranvand was nominated for the AFC Player of the Year – Men’s category at the AFC Annual Awards Hong Kong 2019 along with Japan’s versatile defender Tomoaki Makino and AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019 star Akram Hassan Afif of Qatar.

Reza Jabireh is the latest Iranian followed closely in Portugal

The 22-year-old is a stranger to European football for now, but his performances at Sanat Naft have drawn the attention of European clubs.

The player has been watched by clubs such as Olympiacos or Betis and there are also in Portugal who is watching what Reza Jabireh is doing, which has also been featured in the Olympic team.

To the best of our knowledge, Marítimo and Rio Ave have the Iranian midfielder on the list of potential reinforcements, and even though there has not yet been an official approach, it can still arise if the level remains high.

I highly doubt Vitoria could afford to throw the needed 1.5 mil for beiro, Portuguese clubs have no $ outside of the classic big clubs

You are correct, however, I read in the article mentioning they can activate a release clause which is estimated around $700k. I think its feasiable for Vitória as they aim for EL once again and with the funds they got from EL in addition to their under preforming GKs.

Question is however, is Beiro's willing to go?

He is not going anywhere, he hasn't been the shadow of himself since WC.

Didn't know where to post but Peyman Babaei is top scorer of Azerbaijan league with 6 goals, his team stand at 4th and he was key for them, maybe he can move to better league if he continue to perform well.

I call bs on this - sardar said himself he aint leaving until summer at the earliest. only somewhat belivable scenario is he gets bought and then loaned back to zenit until the end of the year but even that I don't buy given his recent dip in form.

Yeah he could just be on vacation considering that the league is on its winter break and Zenit have no other competitive fixtures
