Abedzadeh, as much as he is a very hard worker with great attitude, and playing in a decent european level, all of which is very applaudable, is not anywhere near the same league as Beiranvand. Mentioning the two in a sentence together is even unfair. Beiranvand is miles better in simply all categories, except maybe distribution where abedz is strong too, but even distribution beiranvand is superior.

At best Abedzadeh is 3rd choice, also far behind niazmand. Mazaheri is honestly a better GK than him as well but because of his great attitude, performing ok in europe, etc Abedzadeh can be selected instead of mazaheri.

I think if Niazmand had played anytime in the last 20 years except now he would be starter for TM.

It’s a real shame Wilmots did not call him up last match. Even if he doesn’t play, he would make a good 3rd keeper ahead of Mazaheri-not that matters significantly but still would be nice.
      agree to this..!
he looks a clever and capable young keeper with great potential..! got a bit of cocky flair and goalkeeping demeanor (from his dadio..!!?) and looks bit undersized for a keeper? but he fully deserves to be in our TM GK mix, if for nothing else for applying his trade in a far more competitive EU setting..!

      ps
he clearly misjudged the flight of the ball but tbf there were 2 Open Porto attackers waiting to easily bury that header in the back of the net with him likely helpless to stop it..! he took a somewhat reasonable chance coming out for the ball and at a very least made it very difficult for them to connect with the ball and it nearly worked to his favor..!! still seems like he had a respectable overall performance against a top table favorite opponent..?

He is not as good as his dad was. Payam Niazmand is a lot better than him.

I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

Maritimo at home to Guimares , 0-0 and nearly finished for another clean sheet for Abedzadeh.

Just seen that Guimares have had 8 shots on target so good goalkeeping looks like by him.

This guy is only 26 and forced himself to be a first choice keeper in the Portuguese top league and gave some really good performances this season including penalty saves and clean sheets.
