Game was sorta reminiscent of Iran vs Portugal, one way traffic, 90% of the time ..!
Mehdi ran his socks off in that game as well, often required to make repeated 90yard sprints from one end of pitch to another ..!
So some faulty touches or missed opportunities We’re to be naturally expected..!
Like mentioned he made many more smart attacking runs tonight that his teammates missed completely or failed miserably at rewarding with a proper pass, otherwise he woulda easy had his second at least.
Had he been suited in blue n white stripes today & was presented with that many decent service in the box, probably woulda had a hat trick ..!? Missing a couple of other golden chances in process ..!

Good on him, damesh garm. Taremi is the kind of a player that frustrates you by ruining some golden opportunities provided by his teammates, however often he creates his own chances and capitalizes on them. This was a beautiful effort and goal. I applaud him and look forward to see more of such brilliance!

Rio ave have provided a great platform for him, although still I think their players often do not pick out his runs well. They have a really quality coach who has been able to build a solid defensive base but encourage and facilitate these types of high quality offensive moves.

I seriously think they are a better team than brighton, maybe not in terms of individuals, but the manner they play as a team, not with ages of pointless possession, maintaining solid defensive basis, but building real moves like this when in possession. Great to watch.

Brightons team is clunky. Its composed of individuals that are either technically gifted or physically gifted but not both. These two parts have no cohesion altogether.

Him and Taremi deserve to be in Portugal’s “Big 3”. Would be an interesting option for a Iran NT Coach too as BacheLot previously have said.
