Wish this move to Porto hurries up & gets completed already, before it gets sideswiped & derailed in the typical Iranian player’s eventual high profile transfer fails of the past ..!

The longer this shitt takes the more nervous I get about it ..! 😩

Latest reports is that Porto will pay Rio Ave 10M Euros for both Taremi and Nuno Santos, which would be quite a steal.

FC Porto makes offer of 10 million euros for Taremi and Nuno Santos
SAD went to the limit of resources to grab two targets from the coach. Iranian is guaranteed and in details to be made official

                https://www.record.pt/futebol/futebo...sVideoViewed=1

FC Porto put ten million euros on the table to guarantee Taremi and Nuno Santos, two market targets very desired by Sérgio Conceição. SAD went to the limit of its possibilities, defying the severe financial restrictions imposed by UEFA and making similar offers in quantitative terms for Rio Ave, of five million euros for each player.

Of course, the relative value of the investment is different because the Vila-Condenses only hold 60% of the economic rights of the 28-year-old Persian scorer. However, in this case, it is precisely the fact that the player has a say in relation to his destiny that proves to be decisive for the outcome of the process. Taremi was convinced by the arguments of FC Porto and intends to play in the Champions League. In this sense, and because he already has a clear financial situation as a result of his family line, the striker has already decided that he will wear blue and white.

Porto's SAD believes that Taremi no longer runs away and even Rio Ave is aware of this circumstance, which is why the interest of Sp. Braga, subject to the consummation of Paulinho's sale, may already be decreed as being out of the game. During the week that now begins, and that precedes the return of FC Porto to work, there should already be news, although at this point there are still details to be fixed. The main issue has to do with the liquidity need of SDUQ Vila-Condense, which is also preparing to enter the Europa League, which is not compatible with the absence of bank guarantees and, above all, with payment terms. that are spread over time and do not involve an immediate cash flow.

The work behind the scenes promises to be intense, especially starting tomorrow, but it is likely that the fine-tuning of the details in question will be quick from the moment that FC Porto is confident that they have the player in hand. That is why it will not be surprising that white smoke will appear, although formal formalization is a completely different reality, since it is a contract that, involving costs, cannot gain definitive public contours without sales that ensure a positive trade balance in the face of UEFA.

Much more complicated is the process of Nuno Santos, who is also seen as an important piece for Conceição's ideas with a view to 2020/21. There is a duel going on with Sporting that Record has been following in detail, but what we can assure you is that, on the side of FC Porto, the winger is not lost, or anything like that, so the rope promises to continue to stretch.

Vítor Bruno spoke to the players

Sérgio Conceição is not in the habit of calling players who are in the sights of FC Porto, this is about the recent controversy involving Jorge Jesus in the situation of Everton Cebolinha. He normally prefers to delegate this function, choosing the assistant for that mission based on the characteristics of the target in question. In the case of Taremi and Nuno Santos, it was up to Vítor Bruno to fulfill this function of giving a word of comfort, explaining what awaits them at FC Porto and feeling the motivation of the players to embrace this change. At least in the case of Nuno Santos, it was Rúben Amorim who assumed contact with Sporting.

A Bola: #FCPorto Taremi is expected to sign this week. Porto will buy 60% of his pass. Rio Ave is waiting for documentation from Porto on bank guarantees.

Taremi is getting major attention in his native Iran and playing in Champions League could propel him to rock star status.
In theory, Taremi has 40% ownership and entitled to 40% of the transfer fee Rio Ave will get. So if the transfer fee will be €5million, €2million will go straight into Taremi’s pocket because he was smart enough to only give Rio Ave 60% ownership. So in this case, Rio Ave will only be getting €3million out of this transfer.

Im not totally sure thats right. Its either what you say or more likely they paid 5 million to rio ave for 60% of his pass and the 40% (3.3 mil) will be paid directly to him. I doubt highly that would take just 2 mil for taremi, doesnt make any sense.

actually Im fairly sure its the latter. Taremi has nothing to do with the 5 million bc porto are giving that money for the 60% that rio own. As the article mentions they are buying 60% of his pass from rio ave for 5 million. the remaining 40% will have to be paid to him.

Either way its no joke. 3-4 mil EU in a flat fee like that to a player is almost unheard of. Most players even for big EU clubs like porto after paying taxes will save that up after 3-5 seasons.

Im very happy for him and he really deserves it. He is humble, hardworking, very "paak" guy. And his talent speaks for itself on the pitch. And also big thanks to CQ for bringing this immense talent to the fore and nurturing him in TM, promoting him in portugal, and helping his stock rise to this point.

€3.3million??? In my original post, I mentioned the €5million transfer fee that Porto have to pay to Rio Ave. Of that €5million Rio Ave will receive, 40% (€2million) of it will be distributed to Taremi, hence leaving Rio Ave with 60% (€3million) because Rio Ave hold 60% of the economic rights. It's not cost-effective at all for FC Porto to spend a total of €8.3million.

This is made possible because of portugals third party ownership laws. So in effect, 40% of the transfer fee will go taremi. That is a quite incredible caveat inserted by Fazeli into his deal. If he gets sold for 8 mil he will pocket a cool 2million.
This makes no sense... If he gets sold for a transfer fee of €8million as you say, how will he only be getting €2million if he has 40% ownership??? 40% of €8million equates to €3.2million, not €2million.

The bolded however is correct and what I was saying in my original post, 40% of the transfer fee will go to Taremi because he only gave 60% of the rights to Rio Ave.

This is correct (although this is different from what you are saying in your 1st and 2nd post).

again, im reading you what the article states they are paying for Rio Ave's 60%. They didnt say that is for his entire rights.

Taremi does not own the rights of 40% of rio Aves 60. He owns the 40% rio ave dont own.

No mention of taremi's 40% (which I assume they pay directly to him, not like iran where you give somebody a sum of money and hope they distribute it to who they are supposed to) in the article.

if the transfer fee is 5 million for 60% of the pass, then the remaining 40% at the same value is 3.35 mil.

Rio ave selling their best player for 2 mil EU when they had offers from foreign teams for much bigger sums is what really makes no sense. 8 mil for Taremi is fairly reasonable and even with porto's financial restrictions a doable deal.

It is understood that Rio Ave will be looking for approximately 10 million euros for Taremi, who owns 40% of his own economic rights, with Rio Ave laying claim to the other 60%.
                              https://desporto.sapo.pt/futebol/pri...ados-em-taremi

It should be noted that Rio Ave holds 60% of the player's pass and the player owns the remaining 40%, and any business should only be carried out for an amount greater than five million euros.
