It is official. Our second best striker which could be the first choice striker in any other TM if Sardar wasn't around. He could have done better but this is much better than Qatar. They finished 7th in league last year.
Best of Luck to him.

Mods, please correct 'Taremi' on thread title.
Damet garm pesar and he made the right choice not coming back to Persepolis or going to another Qatari League team!
Ishallah moafagh bashi Taremi!
Also Al-Gharafa got Sofiane Hanni as Mehdi Taremi's replacement. A win-win.
WHAT A TRANSFER!
7th best team in portugal where he will be a star player is very respectable. They just signed carlos mane a very fast winger from Sprting who was just recently playing good minsfor Stuttgart in Bundesliga. Think they will make some more good moves as well.
Mashallah Mehdi! the club is situated in picturesque Portuguese seaside city, much more reasonable adaption for this guy compared to russia or serbia lol. Im sure he will have excellent season and transfer to one of the top portuguese teams in no time.
As a side note, Mane was loaned to Stuttgart in the season 2016-2017 when they were in the 2. Bundesliga. At the end of this season he sustained a bad injury and missed the whole season 2017-2018. Since than he is not the same player anymore. In the Saison 2018-2019 he was loaned to Union Berlin in the 2. Bundelisga and didnt play much. Hope he will reach his old form again
Clever choice. Didn't see that coming. Well done Mehdi.
Well done Mehdi. Talked to my portuguese friend. He said that this is the best team of the smaller clubs in Portugal, who occasionaly play Europa League. So yes, pretty good transfer. They certainly dont have the money that Qatari teams have so even more respectable he chosed to go there. Now he just gotta score and make them win! Good luck Mehdi.
Great move. Glad he finally took the step. Hopefully he can bang in a good amount of goals in his debut season
