"Sporting Charleroi is not ready for transfer Rezaei'

Sporting Charleroi has no plans to buy Kaveh Rezaei from Club Brugge. That reports Le Soir. Rezaei was able to score twelve times for Charleroi last season, but that is not enough.

Rezaei resumed training this week at Club Brugge, but that doesn't necessarily mean he has a future there. However, a transition to Charleroi is also not obvious.

Rezaei started out excellent as a mercenary with his ex-club, but then experienced a dip. He was eventually benched for Shamar Nicholson, making Charleroi unwilling to make a heavy financial effort for him.

Club has paid no less than five million euros to take over Rezaei. A new loan now seems the most logical option. He was also previously linked to FC Nantes, where his broker Mogi Bayat has a major influence."

^ That is not enough? 12 goals is NOT enough? Lol what the hell did they expect, 24 goals?

He also made assists too. Lol I swear to God some of these teams expect too damn much considering they get massacred by their UCL opponents left and right every year.

12 goals in not enough lol.

They tied Real madrid at bernabeu and lost narrowly against PSG away. They finished 3rd in their group.
It seems Ivan legoh wants him badly in Antwerp.
If Osimhen leaves Lille for 80m€, they should take Rezaei for 5m€

looks like were back to square one
CB wants him off books permanently and charlie boys arent interested in transfer but another loan year..!! which could be suggestive that they think he is on his last legs career wise and not warrant a multi year contract anywhere near the 5mil range they sold him to CB for initially..!!

hopefully that Nantes rumor pans out for our boy .... !! or another decent EU club steps up and sign him up..!

If Club Brugge really wanted him and believe he could help them, they would make it known. If he can return to Charleroi or make a move to Nantes, he should do it.

not really. It suggests that charleroi are a low budget operation and have never spent 5 million EU on a player.

That report is rubbish , Rezai was starting every game for a while towards the end of the season. Just stupid paper talk or someone in Charleroi playing a game to try and poach him back on loan again.

12 goals and 4 assists in 22 matches played in which he only played in 63% of the overall minutes in the league. To further rubbish that article he started 8 of their last ten matches , the two he missed was because they were against Brugge and he played the full 90 in six of them (the other two he came off in 73rd min and 85th min). Whoever wrote that just came out of the pub .

He played today in a friendly for Brugge, they won 4-1 and he wasn’t on the scoresheet.

He got harshy critized by the press and fans after this game.

Antwerp still in the running for Rezaei, French interest has cooled down.

well the criticism didnt say harsh, but also included some other forwards. Its quite bizarre really, here is the full match. He was on from 1:40:00 onwards. He was very sharp in possession, didnt have/miss any chances, and worked hard on the press. He definitely couldnt be singled out as being poor.

I think brugge are just trying to force him out. He was much better than openda and diatta who literally look like they move too fast for their own brain to process what to do with the ball next.

^(perhaps too few ..?) but had great touches on the ball and good poise in possession too..! his teammates up top seemed reluctant to involve him much in the play though..!
overall he had a few good spells and had a great assist on the 4th goal laying the ball off very nicely and rather unselfishly for his teammate to finish..!
he certainly wasnt poor any stretch of imagination, but chemistry with this team seemed a bit lacking and on the attacking front maybe he wasnt quiet on the same page as his teammates ..!!?
it was like, CB players were more apt to make small triangles and pass the ball around then look for a quick outlet pass towards goal, while kaveh was more direct in attack
running into box and wait in vain for anything resembling a service coming his way..! he was seen often trying to direct pressing traffic, but his supporting cast often seemed to be oblivious to his directions though..!
he ran hard defensively too but his pressing quality was ok and sorta half-assish and wasnt timed too well ... hardly manage to intercept nor block a pass, from what i saw ..!

only legitimate complain of his overall performance from my perspective woulda been just lack of overall team chemistry..... but i'd point the finger more at his teammates for that than him who was clearly trying to fit in..!! sadly its obvious they want to push him away....!! idiots..!

im sure he could play a pretty good role in their attack, once he become more accepted by CB coach/ players and more in-tune with their style of team play ...!

He simply doesn't feel comfortable at Brugge with all shit happened to him, he should force for a transfer.

I don't know how good your Dutch is, but not alone were they harsh on him, it was more than the 1 link i shared....
