    With a half decent manager and our legionnaires like Mohammadi and Moharrami picking up steam, I believe we will see a different Team Melli than the horror show we have witnessed against Bahrain and Iraq last year with players who have no business in Team Melli like: Mohebbi, Ansarifard and Rezaeian.

    Considering all players are ready and in form, I think the line-up for the March games against Hong Kong and Cambodja should be:

    Beiranvand

    Moharrami - Pouraliganji - Hosseini - Mohammadi

    Ebrahimi (C) - Nourollahi

    Ghoddos

    Jahanbakhsh - Azmoun - Taremi

    Possible subs: Gholizadeh, Mehrdad Mohammadi and Rezaei.

    With this XI and the quality we have, topping the group is still doable.

          He got a yellow card in Iraq game which was his second yellow card in WCQs 2022 because he got one yellow card in Cambodia game as well.

            Shojaei and Pouraliganji are suspended for Hong Kong game. No body cares about Shojaei because he should have retired after the last Asian Cup.

                      MiMo in squad of the week

                      https://www.voetbalprimeur.be/nieuws...gge-waakt.html

                      Furthermore (google translate);

                      Jonathan David again played very well, the midfielders did what was expected of them, but left back Milad Mohammadi also played a remarkably strong game. "I keep working hard. I want to try to seize the opportunities that I get as well as possible. As long as I can help the team, that is the most important thing for me," the Iranian remained modest on the club website.

                      Mohammadi also crowned his strong party with a goal. His first hit in the colors of Gent. "It's not easy for a defender to score, especially for a left or right back. I've scored some in the past but now my first at Gent. I'm happy with both my goal and my performance."
                      Iran deserves better, TM deserves better.
