I highly doubt UAE though. The politics won‘t let it happen

A Japan and Jordan friendly are very likely.
Japan because their FA has expressed interest and Jordan because their head coach is good friends with Wilmots.

Japan cant play on those dates, they have matches, unless its 2020.

**** UAE. Don’t want to play that team. I’d rather play Qatar and they are actually a decent opponent. I say get China and Qatar friendlies.

Over the years I’ve shat on Qatar, and still do sometimes cause it’s fun lol. But you gotta give respect where it’s due and no matter how many times they’ve played dirty and grassrolled in the passed (“Ambulanso khabar konin!” Lol) the QFA had our back before the Asian Cup. They provided our team with the best facilities when our federation couldn’t afford it. That I respect.

Also, I’ve noticed less time wasting by them recently. I think it’s because their new coach is not for that and has implemented a new system. An Spanish attacking system where they keep possession and try to find the goal in a more productive way rather than a “bezan ziresh” way.

I still think Qatar is a fake and plastic national team. But they’ve come a long way, and seeing their domestic players doing well too is a plus for them going into hosting the WC.

Lets hope Iran Football Federation is able to put something together. Already September 5 is late for any bookings
