Starting to get a bit irritating that we have 3 players in this team and none of them have found their way into the pitch so far🤦🏻*♂️🤦🏻*♂️

Gholizadeh and Delfi will be included once they are ready. They were both very good for charleroi.

Gholizadeh included in the matchday squad vs Antwerp. Delfi to feature for the U21's in the U21 Belgian Cup:

"SC Charleroi: everyone is fit to receive Antwerp

Karim Belhocine can count on a full group to host Antwerp this Sunday. Only Saglik and Mandanda are not taken over, while Keita and Delfi will play with the U21 in the Belgian Cup.

After having had to go without Diagne or Gholizadeh last week, Karim Belhocine recovers a whole group for the reception of Antwerp this Sunday (18h). Only the surplus Pollet (leaving for Gazélec Ajaccio), Saglik and Mandanda are not taken over, while Keita and Delfi will play with the U21 in the Belgian Cup.

As expected, Descamps is well and truly qualified.

The select ones: Penneteau, Descamps, Imbrechts, Marinos, Busi, Diagne, Zajkov, Dessoleil, Willems, Núrio, Noorafkan, Hendrickx, Diandy, Ilaimaharitra, Henen, Fall, Bruno, Gholizadeh, Nkuba, Morioka, Niane, Bedia, Perbet.

Not included: Mandanda (choice), Saglik (choice), Pollet (out), Keita (Belgian Cup U21), Delfi (Belgian Cup U21)."

I’m guessing it’s match fitness , Delfi is gonna get some from an U23 game.We had too many instances last year where our players were rushed back from injury in Belgium so I’m glad their letting them recover properly.

I hope Noorafkan is loaned to a Belgium team in 2nd tier ore Holland. A good season there can help a lot.

Charleroi coach on Ali and Younes:

"Ali Gholizadeh soon back at its best? "It takes time"

Ali Gholizadeh was absent for a long time last season and has quite naturally a lack of pace, but the Iranian faced Olympic Charleroi on Wednesday and Karim Belhocine is optimistic.

Karim Belhocine was delighted to see some players back in the game after missing pace in early summer. This is the case of the two Iranian wingmen Younes Delfi and Ali Gholizadeh : "Poor Younes took shots in every preparation match this summer," Belhocine points in The Last Hour. "He was able to show that he had the pep, the football and the character, that's good for him," rejoiced the T1 of the Zebras about the 18-year-old.

As for Ali Gholizadeh, he could be one of Sporting's weapons this season but will have to recover some pace. "Ali is way back on pace, do not forget he's been on the flank for six months, he knows he's coming back, but it will take time," said Belhocine."

He seems to have total faith in those two. WE should have faith in both of them and belhocine too. Both their physiques are not ideal for european football. They need to strengthen and be fully fit, ready to take and get up from hard challenges, and not be in danger of getting injured easily again in the middle of the season. Better to take it slow, strengthen their muscles and ability to withstand hard contact, and come back when fully ready. Especially as wingers they will get a lot of kicks. For now Charleroi are doing ok, so they can be eased back in.
