    Iran or Uzbekistan (u23)

    Meet your Persian Love Today
    Hi all,
Who do you think has more chances to go up as second team, on paper is Uzbekistan.

    South Korea vs Uzbekistan
    Iran vs China

Iran must win and South Korea must win against Uzbekistan.

South Korea has already qualified and will take it easy.
Technically we're better than China too but our boys are not physically ready for this tournament.
I think both games will be a tie.

We can win but I don’t think Korea want to win unless it feels they prefer Iran there instead of Uzbekistan

Regardless of the other group match, I sincerely hope that Iran U-23 shows they can play a high quality game and win with at least a two-goal margin. We used to have traits like gheyrat and mardaaneghi back in the day that could kick in to make up for shortages in coaching skills and match preparation. Are those qualities still instilled into the Iranian youth? I have not been there in over 25 years, so can't be certain.
