I don't get the negative image Turkish League has here, it is a way better league than f.e Portugal and playing for a big team such as Besiktas gives u enough oppertunities to transfer (back) to a "western" European League.

I like Ghoddos too, but people tend to forget that he couldn't prove himself because of the shitty situation with his transfer issues. Having played so little as he did, at a BOTTOM table team in the French League ; its a miracle if he could go to a team such as Besiktas....

Honeslty I am still amazed by the lack of adequate offer for our players. Always an excuse!
One day, they are too old/too young, an other day they don't have european pass. When it is not the case, they have euro EL/CL experience but not in a big euro league or big clubs. Good performance in WC against top countries or in U17 WC doesn't count for us.
An other day, they are iranian but we can see our swedish or german players don't have so many better offer.
Can't believe a fkkkin Mainz doesn't show interest for someone like Ghoddos, Rezaei, or JB

While most of your points on quality of the league, referees in the league , "hashieh" in the clubs , emotional decision making are on the spot, the quality of the league still is better than f.e Portugal or Sweden (maybe even The Netherlands). Plus Ghoddos has been suspended, didn't play, probably the whole situation damaged his credentials AND his team als relegated ; no situation in which you're clubs/scouts first pick is it?

In these circumstances, this would be a great move. For a future transfer ; i saw many (high level) Dutch players go to Turkish league & transfer back into The Netherlands.

My question is why do we get so offended always?

Taremi has had a brilliant season, has been praised by all of portugal, has been a favorite of a legendary manager and football philosopher named CQ, has offers from all of the top portuguese teams, in addition to at least 3 foreign teams in england, spain, and france (probably much more by the time season is done). Even during winter 3-4 german sides were confirmed by portugese to have enquired about him.

Who gives a shit that some random guy on twitter wrote that taremi might not adapt to french league? Seriously, why should we be offended by that? Taremi's quality is known and he will get offers that match that.

Benfica under Jorge Jesus or Carvahal would be a fantastic place for taremi to show himself in CL, play in a team with high level players for the first time who dominate possession. We have never seen taremi in that situation and it would likely allow his game to reach new level. He has been treated with such respect and dignity in portugal, if you look in benfica fan forum or twitter every top portuguese clubs fans are raving over him. He is comfortable there and can take his game to new level next year. Similar situation with porto.

If a team like Marseille, similar level team in La Liga makes an offer he must consider that too for sure. I think in the end he himself would prefer to stay in portugal or go to la liga which is spot on for him.

BTW, next match will be Sunday 9am PST, vs a 11th place gil vicente side who have little to play for at this stage in the season. Can see taremi bagging another couple there.

Wow, so that’s what they were saying about Taremi on that post?! Ajab adamai hastan! Iirc, they also were saying the same BS about Ghoddos and question his ability to adapt on live TV. These people need to enter the 21st century!

A 2nd division team up for promotion says they have doubt about a player, it may be as we Iranians say "to sare mal zadan" so they can haggle over the price. Taremi would be stupid to even think about FC Lens, they will be a terrible team in a league 1 that will struggle. If he gets offer from better teams in Ligue 1 (mid table or better not a promotion/relegation struggling team) then OK but going to Lens is no better than doing what ARJ did and will screw up his career. Offers from higher teams in Portugal or good teams in Spain he should jump at. On the other hand offers from Lens or shitty French teams he should tell them to go have their Pistou and come back when they can afford Chateaubriand.
