he just doesnt fit in the premier league.. i would love to see him in the bundesliga, weghorst is doing good at wolfsburg. if JB would join him they would be wolfsburg top players.

            AJB gotta work harder.
Be more hungry. When his team has the ball in midfield GO GET THE BALL . Demand it
Either get in spaces midway thru the other team's half or on the wings
BUT once he has the ball, the team's tactics make a difference as well as WHO is the target man uptop.
AJB needs FAST team mates, who are also smart and can play one touch passing
MIRRAY is just old, his speed can not be THAT fast at his age.
Brighton need someone who can run into space and/or control a ball and allow time for the wingers to run on either side.

I just hope this coach has them playing more fluid than they did under Houghton.
Houghton had Brighton playing like Iran. But the difference was Brighton was playing better opponents week in , week out and their midfield didn't have Ibrahimi or Ezatolahi. lol

He had his chance to impress in pre-season but it looks like he blew it.
              Winter transfer to Qatar?

He just has to keep working hard and try. Not give up like some of you suggest.

                    Alireza is the good boy.

                    He will still be successful.

JB needs to be much more aggressive and direct with his play.

He was way too afraid to take on risks last season and barely ever tried to take on defenders.

He needs to grab this season by the neck and seize the opportunity.

I agree completely , take the bull by the horns. As soon as he gets his first goal/assist I think we will see a more confident player and it will get the fans off his back too. He has the talent , hopefully he gets some consistent play because it’s always difficult to show your game etc when you’re playing the odd minutes here and there.

Brighton in talks to sign Neal Maupay from Brentford. Good young striker , did well in the Championship last season.

Recent interview with Amir Hashemi on Jahanbakhskh:

"Determined Jahanbakhsh goes full of opportunity at Brighton despite interest

The last few months, agent Amir Hashemi has been bombarded with phone calls from interested clubs. Especially from the Netherlands, Germany and Turkey there was a lot of interest in Jahanbakhsh, but it won't come to a transfer. 'Alireza is very happy with Brighton and wants to prove that he is good enough for the Premier League. It is quite normal for players to get used to English football for a year and sometimes two years and Alireza is very calm about it. He is very confident about the coming season. "

'Of course it is great that there is so much interest in Alireza. The fact that Dutch clubs wanted him made it extra special. The Netherlands is really his second home for Alireza, he is in love with the country. But first he wants to prove himself at Brighton. Alireza now has a nice apartment and no longer lives in a hotel and he has experienced the entire preparation, in which he has made a good impression. It is out of the question that he will be leaving Brighton this summer, "said Hashemi in conversation with Voetbal International.

The fact that Brighton changed manager this summer can have a positive effect on Jahanbakhsh. The new trainer Graham Potter is known for an attacking football philosophy and always plays with offside players, while his predecessor Chris Hughton played much more defensively. 'It looks good for Alireza, the club also has a lot of faith in him. That the new trainer wants to play offensive is of course positive, because that fits with Alireza. But wanting is something else than doing. There is no pressure in preparation yet, but you will soon be playing Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City. Then the question is whether you can play offensive. "

Where players often go to their agent after a disappointing season to arrange a transfer, at Jahanbakhsh it was the other way around. Hashemi: "He really has a goal and that is to succeed at Brighton and in the Premier League. He immediately informed me that a transfer was not an option for him. The interest there is to him, but Alireza is an intelligent man who does not have the word give up in his dictionary. This season should be the Alireza season. He is in perfect shape, now knows what English football demands of him and is ready to flame. ""
