Was he ? I was really young when he was around but I just checked and he scored against the OFC team when Sepahan made the Club World Cup.

He was such a good player and could have become TM's number one striker if he hadn't declined the invitation. Soon after his eye got a huge hit in a game and he got almost blind. Because of that he had to quit playing football and became involved in the staff of Sepahan instead.
