I’m guessing by Mehdi you mean Taremi 🙂 . Was hoping he would start Ezatolahi but guessing he will play in the Korea game, looks like he has just carried over the team from the Asian Cup.

Ghermez Agha jaan, I really like Hosseini and I think he is our future goalie. He just hasn't reached the same of level of emotional maturity that Ali Beiro has and doesn't have his amazing experience (e.g. Chettorree Krees and Chettorree Jaavee ). Sangarbaaneh beemaanand kept us in the game against Portugal in WC and Oman in AC with amazing penalty saves.

eh emotional maturity is debatable, beiro has had his fair share of suspect moments in that department but i'll give you that one.

to clarify though, i'm talking straight up raw talent. I've been a GK my whole life and I've watched our keepers closely since I started following TM football when I was 8 years old (back in 2001). hosseini has the quickest feet I've seen of any TM GK and has that ability to see the play in front of him before it happens that only world class keepers have. his career has been frustrating to follow bc he's been too in love with SS and has wasted a few years being there when he could 120% be somewhere better......I hope he goes to europe ASAP!

of course he’ll break it. 4 qualifiers against lithuania and luxembourg before the end of 2019. not that he has a problem scoring hat tricks against strong teams but he’ll get like 10-12 of the 21 remaining in those 4 matches.

Iran all time 6 top scorers, great to have two of them still part of TM and being 26 or younger. Have to say during the years of old timers(Pious, Mazloumi, etc)there weren't as many as friendlies like today. Also the war against Iraq in 80s didn't help the case for many.

Maldives are a different side to when we won 17-0. They drew South Korea 0-0 just a few years later in WCQ (and lost the other leg 2-0).
