"BFF in advanced talks to play friendly with Iran

BFF admitted its negotiations with Iran Football Federation, which has not been confirmed yet.

“We have been in talks with two-three higher-ranked Asian countries to play a friendly before our first game in the World Cup Qualifiers in September. The negotiation with Iran is in advanced level but nothing is finalized yet, even the date of the friendly,” said BFF general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag Wednesday.

The men in red and green will kick off their campaign in the second round of the 2022 Fifa World Cup and AFC Asian Cup China 2023 joint-qualifiers against Afghanistan on September 10."

that's how scouting works. They will have to check regional options first. In this case, well, maybe yes, they are having an eye on us and our opponents.
