      Wasted his time in Russia

Azmoun deserved much better career if he was Japanese he would been playing in England

Judging by the posts here it feels like he never left Rubin..

What a shitty game it was. Compare it to Man U - PSG game. Another planet.

Yes because you know. He had two offers. One from Wolverhampton who refused to agree to a hard purchase agreement this summer and one from Zenit. That's it.

They need to figure out how to work Dzyuba and Azmoun in. They need a center attacking mid that can peel away and let Azmoun and Dzyuba make runs.

Azmoun is very mobile, makes tons of clever runs even despite the fact that he's barely had time to fit in. Dzyubia is perfect for holding up play and giving little headers/flicks on to azmoun; they tried it a couple times this game

They should've just played long balls the last 20mins. With Dzyuba and Azmoun upfront, they would've made something happen.

Dyzuba and Azmoun can work well together but he's going to have to chance his formation. Will see how tactically flexible this coach is.

Was a tough match to make his debut. Hopefully he will get more chemistry, he kept trying the time he was on the pitch which is good to see.

I was think the samething. Level of football is so crappy no wonder sardar stayed in Russia he wouldn’t survive in France or england.

Leave it to Iranians to draw conclusions from a 16 min debut for a team he's been training with for like 3-4 days.

lol a shitty team like rostov was able to beat Bayern Munich, and qualify to the CL over PSV, Ajax, and Anderlecht.

                            Please stop tallking nonsense.

Additionally, UEFA league rankings are based on Objective analysis of the performance of CL/EL participating teams from said leagues. Meaning that russian teams have done much better in UEFA comps than dutch teams.

Yes, zenits approach to todays game was shit but i've seen them play really good football for the majority of the games I have seen.

The russian league has a very, very long winter break and the rustyness in all the Zenit players was evident.

I fully expect them to win and advance from the home game.

They also sold arguably their best player, Leandro Paredes.

He has switched formations from 4-2-3-1 and 4-4-2. Expect to see alot more 4-4-2 against weaker Russian teams
