Pretty tense first half. Zenit badly need Malcom to be fit, their delivery and buildup play has been lackluster and they're relying too much on the long ball which kills possession.

zenit are really undermanned offensively. Kuzyaev not ready, malcom out injured, driussi out injured. All three would start when full fit and be tasked with getting the ball to azmoun.
Still away from home to spartak they are winning. In the league at least they maintain an impressive ability to dig out results especially in big matches, no matter the circumstances. But their personnel must return, style must improve, if they are to perform in CL.
