here is confirmation from an actual article not an unverified telegram post.

He could be out for the match this weekend vs Rubin. The very fact that there is still a chance he makes it basically confirms it is not major, but I think they will rest him this weekend.

here is even better article. Thankfully it is just ankle sprain, but a bad one. While he could play quite soon it seems likely they rest him vs rubin and on the wednesday cup game. he would return away to lokomotiv after that.
