How the hell can CQ get that idiot Kanani prepared for that fluke???? That's not in the coaches hands and anything can happen. What happened today was not in the hands of CQ. Fluke goal and a freaking bullshit PK.

god knows how many friendlies were arranged purely through his connections and how many TM camps in Africa he was instrumental in arranging .? or even how much of his supposed salary is still owed to him by IFF ? and how many times he had to deal with delay in his paycheck, not to mention a whole lot of other bs he was dealing with all along..!

Hello so once this masterful tactician arrives, Lets just say Guardiola shall we. Is he able to fix this mental problem that we have of Yelling at the ref, Fighting with other players/ our own team mates and instilling the killier mentality in the team? Is that usually the job of a masterful tactician, or is that something that is learned at grass roots?

Thank you for everything CQ! The past 8 years you gave everything to us and your accomplishments will always be remembered. Your love and pride for Iran, team melli, and the fans was like none other. Only wish you could have gone out the way you deserved.

                  ALL FOR TEAM MELLI.

Now we have work to do if we want to reach a 3rd consecutive World Cup. Let's get to it.

well he wasnt alone in that, like 4 other defenders joined him to bitch n moan about a clear Nofoul play-on..!! i think he was nervous he was about to be getting called for a Red card worthy PK Foul and lost the plot ..!
anyways shitt happens he played an overall solid tournament nonetheless and i dont think its fair to single out his only 1 brainfart moment ..!

He has changed our football so much.

Do not listen to what clowns like O-Zone say, he can not keep it classy. We have to thank Queiroz, who over the last 8 years gave our team a stability that no coach has ever done before. Everyone talks about how he did not win a cup, but the reality is, not only have we changed in the last 8 years, but football in Asia has also changed massively. Not only we have grown, our opponents have become better than before, today you can see, in addition to the big five, that Uzbekistan, Oman and co. have improved massively, teams that could not even play two passes in the past, such as Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Syria, Vietnam, have made great strides forward. The differences in Asia have narrowed, there are no more 20-0 victories.

Thanks to this development in Asia we have massively improved thanks to Carlos, because if we had been growing in step with the other teams, they would have been much more difficult for us, but we dominated these teams because we took bigger steps forward in our style of play than the other Asian teams.

Many people exaggerate the Golden Generation around Daei, Mahdavikia, who were great singles players, but their opponents were also weaker than the opponents we have today. I do not want to see such games as at the 2006 World Cup, where we did not stand a chance against Portugal and Mexico and one point we trembled against Angola.
CQ has built a team that could defy Argentina, Spain, Portugal, despite the hostile conditions that our beautiful country has to endure. We should have the decency to honor this, regardless of the mistakes CQ made. I hope Iran has learned something for its future, it needs coaches from outside, we are not Japan, where people are acting rational and using a domestic coach, it takes big investments and a coach, that can play modern football with our Team and can continue to implement it.

I like Schäfer very well, but I know him well from many appearances all over the world and his time at Karlsruher SC, but this man is a coach of yesterday, who has lost nothing on the world stage, it may indeed be enough for Esteghlal, but not for a World Cup.
All in all, I wish our country all the best and Queiroz, if he should go to Colombia, a wonderful time there. He was the best coach in our history, maybe forever.

some people are just disrespecful, CQ did alot for iranian football, he took iran football out of the dark ages and now people view him due to one game.this are the people who deserve GN and daei as head coach of tm.

you think of trophy alone, if you look at all the things cq did for iranian football, you would notice this is the golden generation, your too narrow minded, you would have taught branko is better than cq if branko would have won the asian cup. but you need to remmber when cq came is 2011 what kind of mess we were in , and now we are in stable and good condition.

Ask Croatia, or Spain from 1990-2008, seems like we are also like them
