Really looking forward to KSA vs. Japan. Who do you guys fancy?

I hope Japan wins. I want no part of KSA in the semis (if we make it that far). From the referring, to the mind games they'll play against our boys, it'll be a nerve racking and emotional match whose winner may not necessarily be the best team (Iran).

Japan, Australia & UAE will make it. The most intense match will be held between Australia and Uzbekistan.

I was talking about the all the matchups tommorow. Although Japan are favourites Saudi might be able to pull off an upset. Any result can be expected tommorow. UAE on paper looks like they should come out with the win, but Kyrgyzestan is dangerous on offense.

I want to say Saudi would be easier in terms of play because Saudi has a short team based on technical skills and passing just like Vietnam.

Japan can kill a game off with possession so if they go up 1-0 against Vietnam its game over.

I’m gonna enjoy watching the Japan vs Saudi Arabia match.

I actually like to see Saudi win so we can beat them in the semis.

And believe me, those who understand football know how week their defense is. No matter how tough or how much effort they put into that match (if we face each other), Saudis will not measure up.

Oman’s defense is much stronger than Saudi Arabia and we all watched how they played with Japan in the group stage. They could’ve been 2nd place if the referee did a better job.

The point is, our team is psychologically strong enough to play against the likes of Saudi Arabia.

It will be tougher vs Japan than Saudi Arabia because our team is well prepared for Persian Gulf teams.
