    this is important game, vietnam is speedy,but we can overpower them with strenght, freekick and corners. we must defend well also, thier speed is fast.we must hit them on counter,score early then vietnam will be in trouble,

    The Fairytale video was amazing! There is something incredibly fairylike about TM's story and ongoing progress.

    in a 15-20 minutes i watched of Vietnam vs arough, i was most impressed by their tactical discipline and excellent team movement w/o the ball which was essential to their impressive and fluid Passing game..! However they looked awful small and physically weak and well prone to getting outmuscled from the ball on the ground and specially vulnerable to arial threats..!
    we probably should and will have an overall aggressive approach to this game a la Yemen, but its Vital for our players to keep their poise and not to over-commit in their challenges especially in the MF area..!! if over aggressive and rash, a good passing and quick team like them vietnam could frustrate and tire us easily and force the boys into stupid fouls and accumulation of silly cards which will bite us in the ass in later games..!
    regardless, i expect a somewhat comfortable win tomorrow.... hoping for another clean sheet..!

    Do we know who is the referee for the game? A referee who would blow the whistle at the drop of the hat would not bode well for this game as TM will out-mustle the smaller Vietnamese players and would be physically imposing on them.

    It's not great. This Singaporean ref named Muhammad Tariq.

    Based on his history he gives at least 2 yellow cards a game. He reffed our 1-0 win against China for the WCQ in Tehran
