RIP, I have to disagree with some of you here, i did not like his show as i thought he very unprofessional in doing interviews, he would asked a question, before the guest had time to answer he would ask another question and go of on tangent. Very annoying to be honest. You would think after so many years he would learn a thing or two about interviewing. The guest IMO never got to answer any questions fully. pissed me off.

At any rate, RIP and my condolences to his family.

He was the very first sports show that i can remeber as a 10 9 year old boy in Iran after the revolution

However he was not a very good interviewer at all , not vey professional as a shoman or even a football announcer

          but we loved him anyway.
