They have already scheduled with Brazil, Mexico, England and Italy. The team is new and has its focus on younger players... The last time Iran played with US was back in 2000 in California. I am sure some of you remember that game from almost 20 years ago! Check out [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

In the current political climate, it is literally impossible.

This is the president of The Federation, you can contact him on Twitter: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] (Carlos Cordeiro)

He has Portuguese roots from the father side. Looks friendly and down to earth. If Iran plays with the US in Los Angeles, they will sell A LOT of tickets. Currently, USMNT needs to rebuild audience.

I doubt it. One of Bolton's recommendations to pompeo and trump is to cease all cultural and sport exchanges between the 2 countries.

Sounds reasonable we have played them back in 2000 where we drew that game.

This is a short footage from the 2000's match: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Who was that goalkeeper? Was he with Esteghlal Tehran at the time?

Yes we can play them for sure. We have the perfect high class federation to set this up and we are best buddies with US politically! Hoorah
