We are currently witnessing a revolution in Iranian football. Team Melli has never been stronger than it is today, and we will only get better.

Solid move, a newly promoted team in LaLiga. He deserved it. The style of this league suits him a lot too.

They ended only 1 point behind league winners Rayo Vallecano last year, so they must be solid and able to keep themselves just above the drop zone this season.

On another note huge respect to Saman for persuading his dream to play in LaLiga, because I'm sure the wage he'll be getting is 100k max. Huesca is valued at €31.40 million euro's according to Transfermarket.

Good move, if they go down immediately then I expect him to be picked up by another team and if he does a few good performances then who knows...

SD Huesca is a football club from North-East Spain that has been playing for years on the second or third Spanish professional level. The club has never played in the highest division. Until this season. The club that bears the same club colors as FC Barcelona, crosses the swords with Real Oviedo for the championship on the last day of play, but is already certain of promotion. And that is unprecedentedly handsome.

The fairy tale continues in Huesca. A city north of Osasuna and west of San Sebastián. The small town has only 46,000 inhabitants and is almost five times as small as Pak 'm Groningen. Yet the club is playing next season against FC Barcelona of Lionel Messi and Real Madrid of Cristiano Ronaldo. All the big stars travel to the eight thousand count stadium Estadio El Alcoraz. The name of the stadium is also derived from the battle for Alcoraz that took place in 1096 between Peter I of Aragón and Al-Musta'in II.

            BUDGET
Besides the fact that it is difficult to promote from La Liga 2, it is a miracle that Huesca has managed to put down. With the lowest budget of all 22 participating teams, Huesca flings to promote directly to the highest division. Where La Liga smashes millions of dollars, Huesca mainly has to deal with outdoor chances or own trained players. Just as Eibar promoted to the highest division a few seasons ago with a picturesque stadium, Huesca now also follows. With a capacity comparable to FC Den Bosch in the Netherlands, Argentine coach Leo Franco's team is hunting for the impossible: enforcement. The fairy tale that was started in mid-2017 ended with a 2-0 victory over Lugo. As a result, Heusca was promoted to the highest level in the 118-year history of the club. Where competitor Rayo Vallecano has to do with a much larger budget, they are promoted anyway. Only now is the question who is going to win the championship?

Huesca takes on Oviedo against the local Real, while Rayo Vallecano plays against Gimnastic. Gimnastic is still anything but certain of life retention. The club from Catalonia must make every effort not to slide down to the third level. Rayo, on the other hand, will go the extra mile to grab the national title. The same applies to Huesca. Huesca has the best papers with a point advantage (76 to 75). Her opponent Real Oviedo can still reach the playoffs for promotion, but then it has to win and competitors Osasuna, Numancia, Real Valladolid and Cadiz can not win or at least get a point. Anyway. The fairytale of Huesca has become a reality. The dog-loyal fans, who have been very fond of the club for years, will get their money's worth next season: Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are coming to Estadio El Alcoraz.

Great move for Saman. This club has been aggressive in the off-season to prepare themselves for La Liga and Saman has an opportunity to be a star player here, in the best league in the world. Well done -- onwards!

Incredible move. Can't complain any time one of our players move to a top league in Europe, regardless of the club. He'll be playing against top competition on a weekly basis, and will be training with class players daily.

                  Afarin Saman!

People here forget how hard it is to promote from arguably the best second division in Europe.

They are definitely a solid team and will be able to fight for a spot

Congratulations to him. Maybe he could have gone to a bigger team, but he has a chance now to show himself among world class opponents.

Congrats to saman and congrats to us all. We finally have a player in La Liga again. I wonder if he’ll be available to play in the season opener. He should have no fitness issues since he’s been playing for Östersunds weekly and is in form
