I'd prefer not having all Iranian players in one team. That just raises questions.

They can have him, if they agree to stop their pursuit of PAG ..!

Would be an upgrade and he knows that Europe is his door to Team Melli. But Branko will get a heart attack, so PP will not allow it. For whatever reason they allowed Taremi to go to Qatar though..

taremi only had 6 months left and he had already announced he will leave. so they accepted to take the transfer money of him

If Trabazon sign as many iranian players as possible they are the smartest club in turkey and also in europe, because they signed players for less or nothing and which can compete....very clever....but trabzon can not make business with emerikaaaa...trump sanctions

I think Iranian players are on discount right now, hence the raid on our players.

Why going after PP and SS players and this time of the year? forget for a moment the financial motivations. Think big. PP and SS have had chances to go to semifinal and final games of the AFC championship. What if suddenly the turkish club got the funding by saudis to destroy our teams. The saudis are ruthless and have the money to buy referees and even buy players for another team that can make them comfortable in the competition. Some will disagree and some will agree but it is something to think about. If Taremi had not left the previous year Perspolis would have gone to final of AFC.
Meantime we do have some dallal(s) here and they are fishing and phishing. They read and learn and go after players. They may be just some dumb money lover and misers so they are used to make sure PP and SS become weak. shame on them. do something else for living. making Perspolis and Esteghlal weak by these suspicious moves only tells me about vatan forooshi. meantime saudis can go to hell. They can be Asia's number 1 with foreign players.
They could have gone after players from other teams such as saipa and zob, but went after perspolis and esteghlal....!!!
Turkey needs to investigate any suspicious banking activity of their clubs and see if any money has come from saudi arabia or an agent. This is the only way to make sure they stay clean. Any club that starts spending big needs to be scrutinized no matter which country it is. Since Arabs of Arabia and UAE are corrupted then anything is possible and needs to be checked.

It is not only the club championship but also 2019 Asian cup. CQ would have been happier if all his TM players were playing in Tehran and he would not have to beg some arab sheikh to allow the player to come to camp.

are you serious? You dont sound like you are.

                          They signed :

Vahid Amiri. Free agent. EX PP. His time on PP, although he was nominated as the best player in PGPL by 90, almost the entire board here was dissatisfied with his continental performances, where despite some ok showings, he for the most part looked unable to play football. It was CQ who extracted some incredible performances out of him after a 7 week camp, and got him to a level of performance that NO member on this board, or anybody associated with iranian football, could have predicted or imagined. At the end of the day, this guy is a 30 yr old, as a free agent, who came off a great WC performance, but prior to that didnt seem to have anything truly special about him.

Majid Hosseini. Now this guy they did well to sign, an up and coming defender a great WC, and all the tools necessary to succeed at the next level. But at the end of the day, he only has 3 international caps, and only 2 in competitive matches (Spain and Portugal) and a grand total of ONE season with SS in PGPL. Not exactly an established star. He had interest from some mid tier teams in belgium and holland, and supposedly one second division spanish team, but thats it. Probably Charleroi was his only other concrete option.

And its important to note, you guys are acting like Trabzonspor is some run of the mill team that our players are too good for... They finished 5th last year in Turkey! Thats a much higher level than some mid table team in belgium. They have a pedigree of developing players. Jsut this summer they sold Okay Yokuslu to Celta Vigo for 7 mil EU. They have two young talents in Yazici and Omur that are turkish internationals and being chased by europes ELITE teams. They have quality professionals who just two seasons ago were getting regular game time at AC milan in Kucka and Sosa. Experienced veterans who were pillars of turkish national team and Galatasaray until very recently in Burak Yilmaz and Sahan. and a lot of other quality players.

You dont think thats a step up Khosro Heydari and Mohsen Rabikhah (all due respect, they are hardworking players, but nowhere near the same level).

AND STILL that doesnt cover the fact that most teams dont want iranian players from PGPL anyways. Do you not remember what SHIT trabzonspor had to deal with to sign Majid? (stolen passport, you cant make this stuff up folks).

Now they will be playing in a league with legitimate world superstars and top teams that show their capabilities in europe every year, and if you look at their record, trabzonspor are totally capable of holding their own with these teams.

I for one am happy to see a few players playing at a solid european level than wasting away at PP because of the famed Asian "Champions League" that the refs screw us out of getting to the final in every year anyways...

and to your first sentence. LOL. "this time of year" Yes, summer, its the summer transfer window, one of two transfer windows in the season, and the one that is located prior to the beginning of the season, the one where preseason occurs and squads for the year are determined, the one that the majority of footballers on earth leave during, yes that "time of year". Im not sure what you expect...Are potential suitors supposed to tailor their plans for their entire season (they are clearly going to be using these two players) based on iranian clubs ACL runs?

get real. Yes Arab teams have tried to screw us over for years, taking our best players to their countries, thus robbing our national team of improvement by players going to europe, AND preventing our domestic league from using these strong players. But trabzonspor isnt rizespor, this is a legitimately strong team with a great chance of reaching higher level european football this season (europa League). They are not a case of arab teams trying to screw us. Rather, they are an opportunistic, smart club that see the opportunity to get highly capable footballers for low prices relative to world market (still big transfer fees for iranian standards), use their skill sets, and hopefully make good profits off their sales to top european leagues and teams in the future.

I am also not a fan of more than two Iranians in one club, one will warm the bench eventually, look at Nourafkan, we had this experience in Charleroi before with Minavand, Mahdavi, Yazdani, Emamifar.

^ nice mild expression of your opinion. respected. Hopefully we will not have any injuries. When you play in PGL you get to know who is who and how to avoid injuries. I remember fakhredini was the most dangerous player for SS and now Masjed soleiman is acting that way. The players in new territories have no idea who may be going after legs. Dej should have never gone to EPL and I said it when the rumors came out
