AJ touches in his last appearance reminds me of when Ando made a 20-minute appearance for Fulham against Arsenal, the most embarrassing touches I have ever seen, after that, he never played again.
It wasn't that AJ played "badly" the way he touched the ball was just soo bad.
Basically the touch you use to trap the ball was jsut so off from both of them...it feels like a fundamental issue, where it shouldnt be having this problem. One or two bad crosses or miss is one thing, inability to trap the ball at the pace of the EPL is some scary @#$@#.

Sooskmar you have to tell us what spices you've been putting in your food.
This thread went from needless bashing of Brighton to needless bashing of ARJ. It's hilarious, never know what you're going to get, keep it coming!
I can't wait till he scores his first goal in a few weeks, and then people will start claiming he is better than Son againScreenshotting all the over-exaggerated criticisms for that day. Man PFDC is bi-polar.
Back from the game, first thoughts:
1) Florin Andone started off his BHA career at legend status
2) Police presence was like they expected a riot
3) Missed the first 5 minutes because of late trains with 2000 other fans
4) Brighton were very good on the ball for the first 30 minutes
5) Both penalties were soft, but not the disallowed one
6) Missed part of the non-penalty sending off incident and what I did see looked to me like play acting from a Palace player
7) Palace with ten men were hardly any better. And were chasing shadows when the numbers were even.
8) Davy Propper beginning to look quite good now.
9) Palace tactical fouls injured Murray, Izquierdo and Bissouma
10) Solly March defended well as against Zaha
11) Brighton players seemed technically superior and quicker all through the side
12) Balogun does not look like anything like as good as Duffy for the 3 game suspension
13) Matt Ryan beginning to look quite good now.
14) Palace looked poor enough to get relegated
I forgot to say how pleasing it was from an entertainment point of view of which the game vs Leicester was not. It went very quickly, even the last 20 minutes. The only reason Brighton looked in any danger was because of the referee.
Sendings off tend to spoil games and this one could have been better.
I thought he looked really good in his first few cameos, a class above his teammates even. But he regressed in the spell he had with 3 straight starts. It is clearly a confidence issue, not an ability issue, and BHAs tactics in the games he started didn't help. It would be nice if he could play in a game where the rest of the team is playing well. Hopefully soon he will, add in a bit of luck and a goal or two and I think his change in confidence will do wonders for him.

Again the problem is this guy has never performed with Team Melli, even at the world cup, Vahid was way way better than him....expected way more at an international level as well.

Alireza should know that this is his one shot at EPL. He either magically improves his touches, speed, decision making, pass accuracy, shot accuracy and crosses or he gets sent back to Netherlands with his tail between his legs fully exposed as a dud.
His form has been steadily regressing ever since his first charity minutes at Brighton, so his chart looks exactly the opposite of what it should like. Regression instead of progression. He'll probably get 2 or maybe even 3 more chances at Brighton. If he can't salvage his image by then he's absolutely done for. He wanted to play in a Big League, it's time to show up or hit the road. No excuses or bache nane bazi.
Oh and perhaps he should be more focusing on his game atm than shooting commercials.
