If he just started training, then he's probably at least 2 weeks away from actually playing.
Asian Cup camp will start soon after... I don't think he's going to really play again for Brighton until February!

I think he'll be back by the end of the week in a substitute role, his timeline is about the same if not out for less time than Propper... Who came back in and started every game just fine. It was a hamstring injury and while those can nag and linger, he's not deconditioned, once you're cleared to start training again you should be pretty close to 80-90% already and get back in action quickly as long as you don't reaggravate it

Likely going to be on the bench next week, and then hopefully starts against Chelsea and Bournemouth the following two. Then, Asian Cup.
Maybe this injury time has helped him clear his mind a little and mentally get into the sort of place you need to be in order to play at full potential.

It sucks he got injured just when he had a starting spot. Don't think the coach will give him more than a few substitute mins before Asian Cup.

Alireza Jahanbakhsh might be needed for the Bournemouth and/or Arsenal games.

Ryan will be missing for January as well.

I'm actually optimistic he'll get some decent minutes considering around Christmas time is when premier league teams have the most hectic schedules and often need to rotate players to keep them fresh and prevent injuries.

Brought a smile to my face...wishing him a speedy return to the starting line up at BHA

I forgot that there’s a chance Alireza could potentially face his Brighton teammate Ryan at the Asian Cup.
