On Skysports the commentators are not giving up. They're still praising JB for the run in the box that opened up the space for Murray to score.

Knockaert has been bad this game.

Jahanbakhsh had a go at it but way over the net.

Great flick by Murray. Jahanbakhsh should have stopped that and brought it down.

Good chance for our boy, but got too eager and overshot it.

Missed opportunity for Alireza, house would have come down had he scored a stunner there within one half of starting!

That was poor by JB - Haven't seen him make a decision like that... ever. It missed by a mile

Eager to prove himself with a wonderous goal. He will calm down on scoring chances. He's been very good and calm this half.

Needs more game time to calm down.
A few games and he'll have less nerves. He's anxious to impress.

Think he thought that the defenders were closer + this isn't Barcelona where 3 men are already in position to get a pass from him there. Better to shoot, get the ball out of play instead of risk losing the ball and give them a chance to counter attack.

Halftime program is saying the goal happened because JB pulled the West Ham defenders in. Similar to Lukaku v Japan.

Lacking some confidence which is expected for a first start. Keep in mind, his run into the box lead the center back towards him which freed up Murray for the tap in

That's a solid 6/10 vintage ARJ for TM performance. Why bother exerting yourself to try and beat your man and get to the byline when you can recycle possession and play the simple passes

If he had the BDE of a Ezza or Ramin we'd have some player on our hands.

Alireza has some great movement and looks lively, but you do get the sense that he is very nervous and playing conservatively in general. Hopefully in the second half we'll see more of his usual self and he'll feel some confidence building up

AJ always works his magic in the 2nd half
